Upset to find out the wifi feature is limited to two apps that I don't use. Also the receiver has to be on to use any devices connected to it. Sometimes I prefer not to use my surround speakers.

It will shut down completely when playing certain DVDs and Blu Rays. To restart it, I have to unplug it and wait a few seconds before plugging it back in before it can be turned on again. With one DVD it locks up at the same spot every time. The DVDs and Blu Rays are being played on a Sony 4K disk player connected to this receiver. This receiver takes a long time to start up and will change inputs after they have already started to play, so I have to change it back.

Go with Denon!

The control knobs are just as confusing and the user interface does not even work with a Sony Tv!???

Occasionally had an annoying issue where it would want to display the A/V Home Screen (asking you to pick what you are doing) instead of just auto selecting “watching TV” even if that was the only other device that was on. Sadly, it did not last three full years. 2 years, 7 months and the HDMI output from the receiver has gone out along with the front panel’s display. I’ll have to see if a different manufacturer makes a unit with a longer lifespan

Not for 4 ohm speakers
