I switched to Sony and no looking back. I couldn’t get a sharp shot with a Nikon 2x teleconverter on my 500mm Nikkor lens but this Sony TC works wonderful. I can even get it to autofocus for Birds in Flight with my 600mm lens for an equivalent 1200 FOV. Unbelievable how good it is when paired with the A9. Sharp even at f/8.
