Turns itself off if movie is paused for too long
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sometimes I hit pause on a movie and take a 30 minute break for some reason or another. When I come back, I have to turn the sound bar back on and then wait 5 or more seconds for it to initialize before I can hit play again. Perhaps there is a setting somewhere, but I haven't found it yet. I wish it would stay on until I turn off the tv, but perhaps it turns itself off so it doesn't burn out. This is my 3rd sound bar. My first one didn't work with the tv or cable remote. What a pain. I'm cheap, so I didn't replace it until it died. The second one died pretty quickly. I hope this one lasts longer. My tv is 5 years old, but this is the 3rd sound bar I've had to buy.

The only downside is that it doesn't automatically come on when we power the TV on. We have to use the separate remote. There may be a way to adjust this though and we are just not aware of it. Overall we have been happy with our purchase.

Audiophile sound it is not but for a few hundred dollars, I don't think it can be beat. Dialogue is crisp and clear and the subwoofer does a decent job of adding some punch to soundtracks.
