I bought this soundbar on the recommendation of a Best Buy sales associate. I have had this soundbar for about 6 months now and I am still having trouble getting the sound to be "just right". Maybe its the angle and I should mount it up high to be forward facing. It definitely doesn't sound as good in my home as it did in the store. If you need a cheap soundbar with a subwoofer then you can't really go wrong. Just take some time to read through the documentation to ensure you get the best possible sound.

This soundbar and subwoofer offers a great sound!!! After reading the reviews of the product I bought my son and boyfriend their own for Christmas and they are VERY happy with it! I would recommend anybody getting their own.

I bought this for a friend of mine who had no system. I'm over there almost every day and saw her get frustrated with the TV speakers. Plus I was dissatisfied with the sound especially when watching action movies. I had bought two other sound bars previous to this one and returned them both. One was of a quality on par with the TV speakers and maybe not even that good. The second one just would not put out a loud enough sound. This Sony has been excellent. Great sound, loud enough, easy to set up and great remote controls.

Decent sound for new television. We have a Bose system that is much better, but this is a decent sound bar at this price point.

It was easy to set up and has great sound. The bluetooth is great, so that I can connect my phone and listen to music.

I went into the store to purchase this a different sound bar. I was shown this one by a very nice sales person,the price was great the sound is clean, the sub woofer adds a lot of kick. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I really like how TV sounds through these speakers. This model has select-able sound profiles. The menu is a little clunky since it's limited to the LED screen on the main speaker bar. All in all though, a really good buy, especially if you have a Sony Bravia TV that will let you control the speakers with the TV volume buttons. I only wish there were a custom EQ setting and the ability to see the full menu through the TV screen, but I'm sure that would add a lot to the price.

This sounds better than I expected. We use the Bluetooth features a lot and this works flawlessly. Also, sounds great with HDMI from the TV and we even has a turntable hooked up when we want the hiss and pop of vinyl.

Got this for my 65” Sony TV and it is BOMB! Love it!

Would buy this product again. It's very easy to set-up no problems. My son connected the Bluetooth with our androids phones and we have been rocking on Pandora and YouTube. Love the Subwoofer and Digital Amplifier.

We love our Sony soundbar! We are very pleased with the quality of sound, especially at a lower price point. We sit 18 feet away from the system and have 0 problems hearing every detail. Would highly recommend!!

Bought this for my Sony XBR TV. Very easy setup and programming. Very good sound. The subwoofer makes a big difference.

I was impressed by this soundbar in the store, but was not when I got it home. It didn't sound much better than my TV speakers until I turned on some music and wow! The range and volume is really impressive, and the sub is surprisingly powerful. The only complaints I have are that there is a sound lag if you are using anything other than HDMI ARC, and the remote is garbage. Obviously both of these issues would be fixed by using ARC if your TV is capable. Mine, unfortunately, is not.

I received great sound from the sound bar but the sub lacked some power. You can hear it but sounded like it came from a distance. I returned it and awaiting the higher end version from Sony

Although this is a great enhancement for my tv sound, it also connects to my iPhone & Echo dot for an even better listening experience. My teenage son informed me that he can “ hear his music all the way out into the street.” Not sure how I feel about that, but probably a good testimony for the soundbar!
