However, I should of known better and trust my instinct. Had an old LG sound bar and there was no difference in the sound. I was going to take back, but family convinced me to keep sound bar for other tv we had.

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using it for a while now and works great with the new 4k TV and PS4 pro utilitizing the 4k pass through hdmi connections/settings through the soundbar. The only thing I don't like is not being able to add optional/non-Sony rear speakers to the system. From what I've read, they are the only ones that will work.

Then the bass is good. The only issue I have is that I have a Sony receiver and it operates off the same signal on the remote. Wish I could figure out how to change the remote frequency. Otherwise the Sound bar has great sound.
