I have to say Im loving this thing so far. Upgraded from an LG that had very inconsistent volume levels that would fluctuate and you couldnt even see an indicator of sound like vol 15 vs 25. The sony is beautiful, you run your hdmi connections through this to the tv, you get the volume levels and a host of other features. But the best part is the sound. Watching my favorite movies and hbo series on the lg was a horrible experience when at higher levels the sound just wasnt crisp. The sony is very clear with good bass. I couldnt gice it 5 stars because it feels like the volume is low between 1-16 range, almost like level 16 should be its 1. You dang near have to crank it to 80% plus but after that its just what i needed.

great sound watching a movie.. i was very impressed! hopeing for the price to go down again my mom wants one.. bought my brother one a few years ago it was this one he loves it... im very very happy with my purchase!

Read reviews, looked at various sound bars at the store, and this one really impressed me. Great sound, strong bass, easy to setup, priced right. My only problem is that I have to keep it in check, so I don’t blow out the neighbors.

If you're looking for a good sound bar under the $400 range, this is it. The sound is pretty good and you can move the wireless subwoofer anywhere in the room as long as there is and outlet to plug it in.

A little better sound than the TV since Sony has good speakers in their TV's but the subwoofer really makes the difference. Really needs the other 2 rear wireless speakers which I will add later.

Great sound and easy remote. Connects well with my Samsung TV

Really easy to set up for starters. I had an open box item with no remote but the iPhone app enabled me to make any changes I needed as did the Sony TV remote. Music sounds surprisingly good here, especially anything requires a well balanced low and high end. Movies and TV have a real presence and punch that we’re lacking with the tv itself. There are more features on this soundbar than most people will need but Spotify connect, chrome cast and HDMI switch are just a few of the more useful ones. The subwoofer fills the bottom end nicely without being overpowering or loose. My only small criticism is perhaps a little clarity and stereo imaging is lacking compared to a true home cinema 5.1 set up... but then it is a 2.1 system, so that’s expected.

The Sony HT-CT800 soundbar has lots of nice features, comes with a remote, looks good and sounds good. Got it at a great price too - marked down $200 from regular price! Made it a steal. Very happy.

This item does its job. For the price it is great. There are plenty of soundbars with better quality like the HTNT5. It has the Hi-Res sound. It sounds amazing. But for the price point I had to be in this was a great choice.

Got this for my tv in the garage. Wife decided heard it and decide that it would be better on the main tv. Love that I can connect my phone via Bluetooth and always being told to turn it down.

This is an awesome sound bar for surround sound in conjunction with the speakers. Easy setup and great sound. It has an arc port that matches sound with the TV. Couldn't ask for a better sound bar for the money.

I purchased this with two of the Sony Wireless Surround Speakers to complete a wireless surround system in my bedroom. It was an easy setup and sounds great. I would highly recommend this product.

This sound bar Surprised me. Great sound with more bass than expected. BT is so easy to pair with my phone. Highly recommend if your looking for a affordable unit that will fill a large room.
