The soundbars are specifically designed to pair with these tvs and they fit very well in front of the tvs with the legs on, however we right away started having issues with both of the subwoofers randomly pairing up with the wrong soundbar back and forth, sony recommend we factory reset both which did not fix the problem and we ended up returning both and going with something else. I'm not sure why they didn't make it a direct connection from the soundbar to the subwoofer so that they would cross like this but it seems like a poor design choice to me. Also we realized that there is only 1 HDMI input for the bar which will be the only way to use DTS X or Dolby Atmos, we had our Apple TV 4K plugged into that input and were trying to use atmos from an xbox through the tv to the bar but it doesn't work, if you want the better audio signals you have to be plugged into that one single HDMI.

If you have a decent size HD or UHD screen and are looking for a little extra sound, as well, this Sony system is a great option. It has some of the newest features, like Dolby Atmos. If you’re screen or your living room is on the bigger size you may want to consider something with a little more kick but I’m betting that most listeners would be very happy with the boost in sound you’ll get from this Sony.
