Sound great really when. You have it turned up the bass shakes the house nicceeeee

I had one other sound bar, Bose Solo 5, prior to this Sony. The Bose was very good. I believe the room was too big for that bar. The prior sound bar did not project the sound like this one. The Sony sound bar is more definite and more clear. The different watts are always going to make a difference. I am very pleased with the purchase. I would certainly recommend this system.

I drove across town to pick up this item at the store. When they brought it out and there was no remote, cords or paperwork, they said that this is how ALL Open Box Good items arrive. It did not even come with a box or container of any kind! Online it says that it 'may not have' the remote, cords & paperwork - but I can assure you (based on the response from the staff) that there was no effort to supply (or try to locate) these components - EVER - for an item with 'Open Box - Good' status. I just returned it right away rather than taking it home. The savings were offset by the cost of the cords and remote I would have needed to purchase - in order to complete the setup! Disappointing.

This works seamlessly with Sony TV, just plug and play Sound quality is very good

I replaced an old Sony HT-CT150. This is what I would call a spiritual successor to that old sound bar with better sound, better surround and very good dialog enhancement. The difference between the "Vertical Sound" setting on and off doesn't seem to make much difference when the bar is mounted to the underside of the TV on a wall mount. Overall, a good buy.

Got this open box for well below the original $600 price. Very happy with my purchase. Works perfectly and made my movie tv and music experience much better. It’s paired with my Sony tv and they interact seamlessly. The subwoofer had great bass for beating small. The Dolby atmos works flawlessly and bring an entire new dimension to action movies.

Simple set up. Wireless sub is awesome. Shakes the windows quiet well.

Bought this soundbar last year and it's okay. Although it supports atmos and HDR, it could sound clearer but like I said, it's okay. Overall, it is definitely worth the price if you are looking for a decent soundbar that has all the bells and whistles that I was looking for.

The Soundbar does a good job of improving the sound from the TV but there is an issue with syncing. You can adjust the soundbar to delay the sound from the TV but the problem is there is a already a delay so it only makes it worse. You can't delay the picture either from the Soundbar or from the TV. Some stations are better than others but there is always a slight noticeable difference. This is rather irritating since I have the X900 TV that the soundbar is specifically designed for and I'm just using an antenna. The bass from the subwoofer is also not very impressive. Overall it does improve the TV sound and it's nice for playing music on but I would not have bought this if it was not on sale for $400 and my options were not limited due to space constraints.
