It probably shouldn't cost more than $200. I'll keep it, mainly because I was just the right size for a space. If that is not a concern ...look at something cheaper for a 2.1 bar.

When you raise the volume or lowering it you're just guessing whether you want it that low or high vs seeing a number to help justify what you're hearing.

I tried a Vizio sound bar for about half the price as this Sony soundbar and did not like the problems of syncing 2 different brands. Returned the Vizio and got the Sony and what a difference., not only in using the two together but also in the sound. The Sony was much clearer, crisper and dynamic sounding.

So far, so good. It has great low end sound, and you can really feel the bass. My only negative would be that there's no visual cue as to what level your sound is at. At least not with it hooked up through an HDMI port. Soundbar produces sound though....so that's pretty neat.
