I didn’t want to, but the sound continued to cut out randomly and it seemed to interfere with my remote as well. The TV I had paired with it is a Sony X950g.

Posted .Hi Nick, we're sorry to hear that you had returned your SONY unit. The X9000F has the ability to pass IR commands from your TV through it. To ensure it enabled, please follow page 27 of the instruction manual. If sound was cutting out, we recommend double checking the HDMI cable that was connected.
