Fairly simple installation. Make sure you route all HDMI cables through the soundbar to take advantage of the Bravia Sync feature. Plan accordingly if mounting on the wall. You'll also need an optical audio cable from the TV's audio out into the soundbar. Volume ceiling is pretty low. Wireless Subwoofer takes approximately 10 seconds to sync when initially turned on via Bravia Sync.

Few minor glitches. Every time the Sony tv- android- updates, I have to manually reset the sound bar. A hassle.

the sony is a good sound bar, but i was looking for just a bit more as far as the sound went . I wanted the ease of just using a sound bar for movie, regular tv watching but with the addtiional ability to stream music with decent audio. The interface dis very nice and lots of HDMI inputs but after using it for a week i decided to exchange itfor one with a bit more punch..

There's a big difference between the sound that came as part of the SONY TV system and this added sound system.

all my electronic purchases in the past have been from best buy. they have always stood behind the products they sell, and back it up with a warranty and great customer service that is reliable. the sony soundbar is awesome.

when i first got it with my tv i was like i dnt like it. Wasn't loud enough for me and then my brother played with it and lord the bass in on that system is mind blowing like on 12 sounds like im in a game suited and ready to play

This is the best soundbar I have owned. But I was also looking for features like bluetooth, ability to do wireless surround and multi-room speakers. This speaker can grow as I purchase wireless speakers for the whole house!

Decent, not great sound, but, for the open-box price, I will not ever be complaining about this purchase.

Love the soundbar. Woofer does not have much noise coming out but maybe that is how it is supposed to be.

Great sound. Device would be better if it allowed you to switch devices from the TV or another device.

Bought this to just enhance the sound coming from my TV. I wasn't looking to rock the house down. Perfect addition for people who want to add fullness to their listening, without the expense of a full surround system.

This is a great product! I wish it wouldn't turn it's self off when we switch from cable to xbox

Got this Sony Soundbar to go with a Sony XBR 4K TV. Sounds fantastic. Only issue was syncing it with the tv so we bought an additional optic cable and all now works well together. Very happy with this product!

I purchased this TV for my Samsung 4K Smart TV. It works great interchangeably. It took me a while to figure out the set up, but it was because I did not plug the cable in correctly. Other than that it is amazing.

Never had a sound bar before and now can't watch without one. Makes tv experience so much better

Mirroring works exceptionally well, the bass is absolutely loud and the sound is clear and evenly equalized. Bluetooth works great and the music info is displayed on your tv! Can't go wrong with Sony products!

My husband has had the same surround system for about 12 years. When we opted for a new tv, we started looking at updating the sound as well. This bar performs beautifully and is compatible with wireless speakers.

This is a nice starter sound bar. It is a definite upgrade from TV speakers. Nice rich sound!
