Compact Bar, Not so Compact Sound

It projects the sound well toward you, not toward a wall or toward customers. I haven't used this to watch movies for the "full-effect" but it's used to hear the TV in the employee break-room. It gets plenty loud. For the $100 range, you're buying this to better hear what is being said, not for the boom, bass and sound effects of a movie. This aint for that theater feel.

Great basic bar, pairs seamlessly with Sony TV’s

The Bose I originally bought didn’t pair right with the Sony tv so I exchanged it for this one. I think the sound is actually better, and this has built-in mounting points so you don’t need to purchase a separate bracket system. All for less $! And the best part is it pairs seamlessly with my Sony x950g so I only need one remote. Worked out great because the open box model I got did not have a remote.
