Sound bar great

With this the volume to T.V is turned way low and sound bar comes thru great...I only wish I could program it to the Verizon remote so I don’t have to use the sound bar remote .

The only thing I don't care for is that it automatically turns on when I turn on the TV. I would prefer to turn it on manually. I don't need it for news and weather, etc,

So far I’ve purchased 4 sound bars with built in subwoofers in this price point. 2 Sony’s, one Samsung, and a Vizio. All had HDMI connections, except the Vizio. Sony’s we’re hands down we’re the worst, especially for bass. Samsung was way better and the best was the Vizio. The Vizio lacked the HDMI connection, so you end up with multiple remotes. Very disappointed in Sony.

We do apologize for the inconvenience. The subwoofer is a speaker for playing bass sounds. Sound from the subwoofer may be hard to hear when the input source has less bass sound, such as TV broadcast. You may find this article helpful on how to resolve your low sound on your subwoofer.

If you are looking for bass, look elsewhere. I recently replaced it with the Polk Magni Mini, but this soundbar served its purpose for the time I had it with my Sony TV.

We're glad that you like the overall features of the HTS200F 2.1 ch Built-in Subwoofer mini Soundbar. We're so sorry if you find the connection of the soundbar a little confusing. The unit has 1 HDMI OUT and optical input (rear). You can run the playback device (e.g Blu-ray player, Cable box, etc.) to the TV via HDMI and then HDMI OUT ARC to the soundbar if your TV's HDMI input jack supports ARC. Otherwise, Bluetooth connection or optical cable needs to be connected for it to output audio. To know more about the inputs/connections available, please refer to the startup guide or operating instructions of the product below.

I have been using it with our television hooked up via the HDMI cable and also to listen to music from my iPhone and iPad via the Bluetooth connection. The sound is excellent. It is sleek looking, compact, but still can produce a monster sound. The price is great for the quality produced, especially from Sony. The bass sounds really good from the subwoofer. The remote is an added plus, where you can adjust the sound in several different ways depending on what you’re listening to or watching (it has the requisite sound options of music, cinema, voice, night, standard, etc.), different levels of bass to choose from, a mute button that comes in handy when needed, and other options for playback. Definite recommend.

Doesn’t work properly with multiple brands. You have to connect it everytime you turn on your tv. Sound is garbage, had to turn it to 100/100 to even hear anything. Literally the worst soundbar I’ve heard.
