    Disappointing add on sound bar to TV compared to my 2 Samsung sound bars. Setup has proven to be a challenge and remote works when it desires to work, changes battery multiple times. The remote requires close proximity to use. All in all, sound is ok, I would probably select other.

    Hello, another swing and a miss. Great size and power at 80 watts but no auto shut off. The top controls are difficult to use ESPECIALLY at night. Typical Sony quality. Fan boys would still buy.. way over priced at $199.00

    Solid small footprint soundbar

    This is a tough review to write because it’s not at all what I expected. Sony has done a excellent job of creating a larger soundstage in a very small footprint. I did not except this soundbar to sound as good as it does, great separation and better than expect bass (not going to rattle the windows but enough to know it’s there). In the setting I tried the bass boat was not required and often drowned out the rest of the dialogue. Set up as easy as any I’ve experienced. Optical took some playing with tv adjustments and hdmi was plug and play. Overall it’s a great little soundbar with better than expected sound and presence. Of course the are a few distracters. The lack of a hdmi input could be an impact if you hdmi challenged. The lights are difficult to see unless your looking down from the top. And the big one for last. The soundbar doesn’t get very loud. I expected it to be a volume improvement over the TVs that I paired it with and it really wasn’t. It was on par with the 32 in however much more quiet than the 55 I paired it with. The sound is enough to fill a small bedroom however anything larger than that would be a challenge. This is the only reason this is a 4 and not 5 star review

    I’ve had it less than a year and I’m surprised it’s been that long. It’s under performed. Always had trouble syncing with my Sony TV. Now it’s not working

    Alright soundbar when it works

    The bass was lacking. Even though it says it has a built in sub, it doesn't sound great. The HDMI in also has some problems with losing connection.

    Wasn’t powerful enough, had volume on Max to hear it good. Also when you connect to TV with Bluetooth, there is a delay so the mouths don’t match the voices right.

    Dont get it at Best Buy!

    This product disconnects from my TV and I have to unplug power in order to make it work. The sound is terrible. Be careful when you buy from BEST BUY you only get 15 days to return or exchange the product (check the small print). The problem started after 15 days. Whatever happened to 30 days??

    Easy to unbox, the soundbar comes with the essential things for plug and play. A remote control which is one of the best things, because of the design and size, making it less possible to lose it. An optical cable, batteries, ac adapter. I used bluetooth connexion and it works well, I struggled a little when I tried to connect another device, but it is not a big deal. The soundbar has a nice design and size, the lack of the bass it's noticeable even though the sound quality is good. I would recommend this Sony soundbar 2.1 ch for small rooms and set it up below the tv to get a better experience. I think the price is worth it, I’d say that this soundbar is kind of minimalist and easy to use, the remote gives you most of the settings that really matter.

    The features on the sound bar seem limited, and its not even that loud. I tried my computer and the audiou output is low. I also tried it on a 2022 Sony tv and the sound was also very low. The instructions were straightforward. there is only one hdmi input, and you must do an optical output or bluetooth
