After listening to this system in the store and getting this home, I was happy with the purchase. Very easy to set up.

Mounting the sound bar on the wall with the TV and stashing the sub under the bed. concert time!

Initially I was very happy with it and would have given it 5 stars. However, after about 20 days the sound would cut out for a few seconds but very infrequently. Then it started to get worse and eventually got to where sound would not come back on until the unit was turned off and then back in. Decided to return it after less than 30 days. Best Buy took it back no problem. Will still buy from Best Buy when I need electronics but this was not a good product purchase.

Wish the Soundbar wasn't so "low profile", it's on the mantle and my old 4" high Harmon Kardon (no HDMI) did a better job of hiding the wiring behind. The HK also had a beautiful piano-black laquer-finish with solidly-robust 10" woofer, the Sony's only 7" with a cheaper looking matte finish, and is more boomy & less-clean than the HK. But' it does the job, and it's a Soundbar! If we really want great movie audio, our 9.2 Ch (w/six 12" subs) & 2.5 KW dedicated HT does the job.

We have an open floor plan in our house and my husband always complained that he could not hear the tv if I was running water in the kitchen.......but NO MORE!! He loves it too.
