For the price this is a great soundbar I was surprised when we turned it on. I bought it for my son to use while gaming for the sound quality and he couldn't be happier. The subwoofer performs well. Sony soundbar work's great with Sony tvs. I own 3 soundbar's of sony including the highest price one they are all good.

Great sound for video games and sports So worth It

This sony sound bar works great and sounds so well.

After researching a few other soundbars (LG, Insignia, Samsung), I stumbled upon the Sony HTCT380 in my local Best Buy. I was blown away by the difference in sound between the Sony and the others. It was loud & full of bass, whereas the Samsung for instance was very tinny. For the price, nothing beat the Sony HTCT380.

Some time ago I tried a sound bar four times the price that I returned because I did not like the sound. This Sony is great. Set up was pretty easy except I had to move the subwoofer closer to get the bluetooth to work. Oh, and now I can watch Netflix without subtitles. I can clearly hear what the actors are saying!!

I purchased the Sony HCT380 sound bar with new Sony 55 television. It works as prior reviewers stated. Very simple to set up and sound compliments the 4K television. I would recommend this sound bar for those who want good quality at a good price.

I love this soundbar. It's easy to set up and the sound is good for my medium size room. I purchased open item without the remote, but you really don't need it.

I will say that I ended up returning this item - not because of an issue, but because it would not work in my TV cabinet. It works well and sounds good. The bonus is the 3 HDMI ports that are built in, so if your TV is out of ports, this is a great solution to that problem.

What a difference the sound bar makes. The TV can now be heard without having the volume up as high as it will go to be heard throughout the great room! Movies are more fun with the boosted special effects sounds at home. Looking forward to using the sports mode.

This Sound system is great, Has a night mode and also lets you control the sound of the Base as well... you should hear how explosions in movies sound with this thing. shakes the whole floor

Does enhance the sound and doesn't take up as much room as a home theater system or cost as much, but next time I will probably spend the extra money for the home theater. It is a good sound bar for the price.

Does what it says. Excellent and far superior sound quality than that of my television. Has up to three different HDMI inputs so added bonus to older tv models that has one or two. Great because my Comcast remote controls it without any programming from me, but it doesn't turn the sound bar on. I have to use the remote it came with for that. It can lead to confusion when explaining to baby sitters in what order to turn it on. Other than that, definitely worth the price

I was looking for something low cost with good sound and I found it with this item. I also have a Samsung soundbar and I think the Sony provides Better Sound

Sound bar sounds great and I like how it powers on and off with the same remote as the TV.... However there is a pause after the tv turns on and when the sound bar turns on. Not a deal breaker though...

Good value for the money The Sony Sound Bar was the best choice for me since a lot of the cheaper ones don't have the option to adjust the Base. I just wanted a louder volume then my normal TV speaker, and this speaker is everything that I wanted and more.

I bought this system on sale just before Thanksgiving 2015 and for the price I paid(which was something like $150 off) it is a great deal. Sometimes, however, it seems like u have to turn the volume up significantly to hear any sound from the rear sub. But at higher volumes it sounds magnificent! The only other issue is that sometimes the sub loses connection with the sound bar. They r not very far apart, so I don't think this should happen. Otherwise a great buy I think.
