Bought this for my son's college apartment. Together with his AppleTV and a nice monitor make a nice apartment theater. He loves it!

The surround sound system was also recommendedby the staff and called surpised as Susan Sarandon it works great for a small system

This has been a great addition for tv, I love being able to adjust the sound and listen to music sources from my Samsung galaxy s5

This unit works pretty good for the price. Easy set up, took 15 minutes unboxing and connecting it all up.

I spent quite a bit of time searching through reviews and listening in-store to sound bars of every ilk. I decided to go with this one as it sounded great in the store and I figured it wasn't one of the cheap ones, so it should do the job for my living room. Unfortunately, it didn't have the richness or power of the in-store model. I sat at on the couch 12 feet away and was disappointed with the sound. It wasnt nearly loud enough when cranked all the way up. I tried the 'troubleshooting' techniques in the manual to get more (louder) sound and gave up trying when the results just weren't good enough to justify the price. I used both the optical connection and the HDMI coming out of both my amp and the cable box. Neither were good enough Oh well...back to the surround sound speakers and all the annoying wires... *sigh*

Has better depth of sound than the tv. But the volume is little lacking.

Was what we expected. It works great and is not an eyesore.

The 2.1 Sony soundbar and subwoofer make a great addition to any theatre setup. The speakers are loud enough to have a good size dance party. The system has many settings for gaming, movies, music, etc. it also has Bluetooth connectivity for playing music through the system wirelessly

I'm not an audiophile, but it blows away the Samsung TV speakers which are worthless. The real question is it worth the extra $$ compared to a lesser known brand, probably not. I bought a BB returned unit or floor sample and saved $50 compared to the sale price, overall I'm happy with it.

Got rid of surround sound speakers and bought the sound bar because it took up a lot less space than all the speakers. The only negative is that the subwoofer sometimes actually drown out the tv voices. It is like playing music with the bass turned up too loud and all you hear is the bass and not the melodies of the other instruments or lyrics of the song.

I have a Sony TV a Sony DVD Player just missing this Sony Sound Bar, very good interaction and easy to work with controls.

Ours has met or exceeded expectations. Recommend highly that you read the instructions manual for optimum performance.
