The sub-woofer makes it a complete sound package however I would have liked to be able to dial in the frequencies for my own choosing instead of the standard options.

It does what it supposed to, good bass and sound quality is flawless. I have been using it for about 4 days now.and I'm totally satisfied with it. One good feature I would like to mention is its blue tooth connectivity. I connected my phone once and than I never had to reconnect it again, just select blue tooth option from your remote and start playing song in phone. Thats it. you have several music mode option to choose from. Don't expect it to work like a $1000 home theater when you are spending roughly $200 :). But I would still say its worth buying. Give it a try. You wont regret it.

Got another of the same system, and it isn't as good as my LG, but cost more. Hoped SONY would produce a great sound, but this system doesn't.

Posted .Hello Chuck! We would like to recommend changing the following settings to improve the output: Go to Menu and select each of the following options: Level: OFF, adjust TONE for Bass and Treble, AUDIO - EFFECT: OFF. You can also try a different sound field by pressing that button.~ Jeannette
