I live in a small apartment and the sound is very good and very nice base ,I am sure my neighbors will complain if I am not careful ,very happy with it!

I didn't want to spend a small fortune on a sound bar and after some research settled on this one. It sounds very good and the wireless sub never cuts out or loses signal. I am happy with my purchase.

I've had great experience with Sony products over the years and thought pairing this with a Sony Blu-Ray player would be a great idea. I brought the soundbar home, unpacked it, and hooked it up. As I was going through a very easy setup and connection I realized the sound was not as deep as I thought it would be. I contemplated taking it back until I found the Subwoofer volume controls...it's separate from the main volume control. All I can say is wow. The unit packs a lot of punch and the subwoofer shakes my living room. Very happy with yet another Sony product.

I bought a Sony 4K tv and wanted to upgrade my sound bar. I live in a condo and the Sales Rep recommended this one to go with the TV since my DVD player is also. I like that this has three HDMI input ports. I plug my Direct box into one, my DVR player in another and when I want to display my laptop on my TV use the third port. Very easy to set up. I like the size of the remote, very compact.

Bought this product because it was Sony. I knew the item was open box. I was prepared for a ding or scratch. I was not prepared for a product that was missing a remote. I called customer service and was told to contact Sony. I said why sony.... I bought from Best Buy. Best Buy said you will have to return product to get a remote. I then reminded them it was open box and wouldn't it cost more to return the item than just replacing the remote. The answer was yes but you still have to return the item. Best Buy thank you for wasting my time and not honoring your product. I will not deal with your company again over a part that cost like 30 dollars to replace. The sound bar is great and so is Sony but not Best Buy for the lack of help.

I have two different models in the same family as this model.... They both were referbed... and they are amazing. If you are a 700 watt 4 x 12 inch woofer kind of person... the base is more then enough. I turn both mine down to the lowest settings... I used one of the sound bars for my computer setup and the other for my main tv both are insane good. Zero complaints from Sony... I am going to get a third because I am that sold on this product.

I wish it was a bit louder, even at volume 50 watching football doesnt seem loud enough for me. But my main issue is that it doesn't sync properly with the Sony BRAVIA XBR 55X810C. When I connected it with an HDMI cable to the HDMI port 4(arc) it gives no sound. So you have to use the sound bar remote and plug in with optical cable. In doing so you can't sync it even though it's Sony to Sony

I originally went in looking for a samsung or lg sound bar at the santee location tyler came by and showed me the sony sound bar which surpassed my expectations the best part is he didnt make me feel like he was pushing a sale on me just giving his experiences glad i didnt make a bad decision and go with samsung or lg

Bought this sound bar on sale for $199. Good product and easy to install, for the amount I paid you get a quality sound system. I would recommend this product at the sale price.

I originally bought a LG and returned it due to skipping sound and bought this model. I am very disappointed with the quality of sound with tv and movie mode. Now with Bluetooth music devices it's great. Really let down on quality of volume at top off Max of 50. I am returning it tomorrow to hopefully find one at this price that is better for sound with movies and tv. I want the option to turn it up and hear the movie... not be baselines at a level that my tv can give me. Whats the point in buying a soundbar if your tv sounds just the same??

I've had this system for a couple of months now and I am very satisfied with the sound quality and level for the price.

I really liked how everything hooked up and the simplicity of the system. Unfortunately I found the overall sound quality and volume to be very underwhelming. It was certainly an improvement over the TV speakers but not nearly as good as I expected. Watched some football at full volume but still didn't provide a great listening experience. I had higher expectations for a 300w system. Have since exchanged for the HTCT780 and am hoping that will be better!

this sony sound bar was exactly what i was looking for at my $200-250 budget range. fits under the base stand of my Vizio E-50 without blocking the IR remote signal. greatly enhances the clarity of dialogue, with a responsive subwoofer for the deeper sound fx. totally fills up my 15' x 12' bedroom without coming close to its max volume. BT connection is effortless, music sounds great. remote is very basic but sufficient. would buy again without hesitation.

Purchased knowing Sony great quality. Set up easy. Sound is clear and subwoofer works great.

I was just looking for a soundbar that would improve upon the TV's speakers. This soundbar did this and more. The improvement is incredible and the wireless subwoofer was easy to hide behind a chair in the corner. Provides excellent bass. I'm still figuring out all the features, but out-of-the-box it provides more than enough functionality that I need.

I bought this yesterday while wondering if it was a good idea not to. I've read the reviews and decided that this would be a great pickup with it on sale. It only took minutes to set it up after I got home. The sound on all formats is great and enhances the movies and games I play. A must buy at the price range.

Bought this without doing much research, kinda an impulse buy for my wife and I. Am not dissapointed, have the settings set to near standard, added 3 out of 10 bass units and bass is great. I don't like mine booming like others, just like there to be a deep sound on loud events. Works great

This unit should be great as it has lots of features and seems like a quality unit. I like the ease of setup as well as the ability to completely dim the display except when you are interacting with it. But after two hours of testing the unit with all of the options available (using Transformers: Age of Extinction) all I get is flat sound that sounds compressed and almost monotone. Maybe it sounds better when mounted to a wall, but my previous Samsung sound bar sounded way better. I am not using the ARC setup; all my HDMI inputs go to my TV and I am using the optical S/PDIF connection between the TV and the soundbar. I am taking this back to the store.
