The sound bar looks great and was easy to set up. Pairs well with TV and Blue Tooth devices. Not sure if I got a bad unit, but recently I noticed when I go past 24 on the volume, action movies get "craklely" like a speaker is not good or blown. The unit performs well at lower volumes and makes a huge improvement to my overall experience. I would recommend this at the 225 price point but no more than that.

You're not going to get excellent bass response in a unit this size, but it's a big step up from the speakers built in to a tv. Plus, the bluetooth streaming is a really nice feature for ambient music in the home.

Not a big system with a lot of speakers, but a nice small unit that fits under my 55" TV and doesn't need much additional space of its own. The sound is definitely an upgrade over the TV speakers. It was easy to set up and includes multiple HDMI inputs so that you can route all your components (TV, Bluray, etc.) through one source.

Most flat screen TV's have the sound coming out of the back. This is an inexpensive way to have the sound come out from the front of where your TV is without having to have a surround sound system. It's made for the TV to sit on it. Yep. The remote is kind of neat. but instead of buttons, it has small triangle areas you push. I have to stop and try and read the triangle before I push on it.

This is very good sound system and love hearning music and watch movies. Also supports multiple connetion with various devices (bluetooth, hdmi, and analog)

I'm tired of wires all over the place. This keeps the wiring tight and gives me great sound and it boosts the TV in my bedroom a few inches higher as an added bonus. Very pleased with this purchase.

Good clear sound for dialog. Easy to set up, but needed to add an HDMI cable, in addition to the included optical cable. Also, you will need a universal controller to control sound and channel on one controller.

This is a great soundbar for a small room or bedroom. I have 2 and both sound awesome. Easy to setup and use.

Decided to go with this one to save space. When I hooked it up and started a movie I couldn't believe the sound coming from it. Seems impossible but I'm a firm believer now. Buy it! You won't be sorry!

Very good sound, more discrete than a bar as used platform under the TV central stand. So looks like it's part of TV rather than sitting in front.

I love this Sony product! I compared it to a Bose product, but for over $100 less. Sony comes with HDMIs and Bluetooth, which Bose does not. You won't regret it if you buy this item! Besides, it's Sony!!!!

This was purchased to accompany a 42 inch TV for my son's apartment. He loves playing music through the TV because of this sound system. It was perfect for doing so on the day we moved him in.

Consumer reports gave this soundstand decent reviews. Unfortunately, I unbeknowingly bought a 55 inch TV to utilize it with which had splayed legs and not a traditional flatscreen TV stand. Needless to say, the TV did not stand on the soundstand so I had to return it. Please keep this in mind and check the TV you want to use it on will fit on the stand when buying this item.

This is my first sound bar but so far so good. It has a sleek design (built-in subwoofers instead of separate and boxy) and it sounds great. There are several settings you can choose from depending on what you're watching (sports, movie, music, etc.), but it is difficult to read the display from over 10 feet.

Bought this product as the sound from the speakers in my TV was unimpressive to say the least. Sound bar sounds considerably better and installation was a breeze! Highly recommended product!

good sound and doesn't take much up much space. good quality works great for tv sound and movies.

We were looking for a soundbar for our Samsung television, but we did not want to hook up a stereo surround speaker set. We looked at the Bose sound bar, but the Sony one blew it away. We're thrilled, and we use this in our main living room. Big thumbs up.

Its not great, But for the price it is one of the best. Gets a bit muddy if turned too loud. The EQ or lack of EQ controls doesnt make it easy to fine tune. Overall a nice upgrade to any TV.
