Newer flat screens have poor sound due to small speaker systems. This unit provided a simple solution to enjoying better sound for movies and gaming. Simple hook up and very good sound. Very compact design takes very little room which was a factor in choosing this over a multi piece design. Perfect choice for our second TV in bedroom.

Good sound reproduction compared to the TV's built in speakers

I purchased this sound base/bar expecting to get one better than a ZVOX product and for the most part it is a pretty good sound base. I would recommend going for a ZVOX or adding a subwoofer to this particular soundbase. This model seems to lack a nice deep bass that I am more accustomed to. Nevertheless a pretty good soundbase!

Not as much bass as a separate sub, but quality sound.

The sound from the items attached is so much better

I like that it's one piece and doesn't need a separate bass module. Takes a little setting up, once it's set up it comes on and turns off automatically with my Sony TV. It sounds so much better than the pathetic speakers found on all new flat screens

I bought this for my Sony Bravia 4k tv and love that it is compatible with the Tv and i don't need a bunch of different remotes out to operate it. Sounds way better then the tv speakers. Its definitely not 5.1 surround sound but good if you don't want speaker wire all over the place with young kids in the house.

I wanted a tv sound system that sounds great. The sales person turned me on to an excellent choice. I love bass and it has plenty of it. It has different sound choices. As an added bonus, you can sync your phone (android) and play music on your phone through the sound system. Great System!

My hearing is declining, and hearing even our brand new TV is so difficult. Our salesperson suggested the sound bar - and it is helping me so much. I was surprised - and my husband glad he doesn't have to deal with over-loud sound when we watch tv together. Thanks, Troy, for the super idea!

Good equipament for the price I paid it. Good design for be under my tv.

I bought this for the kids to use with their Xbox. I wanted something that was small enough for the entertainment center, but with big enough sound for the room. Most of the sound bars in this price range lacked the bass sound I was looking for; this one does what I wanted.

Bought a 55 inch Sony HD TV and thought it would be great. Sound was not that good so got the soundbar. What a difference it made. Only thing I don't like is that you have to control it with a different remote than the TV. Both being Sonys you think you could use just one.

I love this product. It's great for smaller TV's on a smaller surface acting as both the table top that the TV stands on as well as offering good depth and immersive sound.

slim profile design, offers better sound than TV speakers and the ARC works extremely well. I have it connected to a panasonic TV, DirecTV and Blu Ray player, sound bar powers on/off and switches inputs automatically. Over all worth the money and does the job

We were having considerable problems understanding dialog on our television. The product is very helpful ---tone is clearer and less muffled.

I was a little nervous because I live in an apt. But this system meets my needs and expectations without compromising the noise factor.

I read reviews from people who did not like the product, but I thought I would try it anyway. There are selections that must be made for it to work the way a person would want, but it is good then. Some people will want to make adjustments often.

This sound bar was good for the price. The sound was good and you could change the setting and it would display it on the screen. The only thing that was missing was more bass.

I was honestly expecting more, much more especially for the price. I purchased this out of convenience. I really love my Sony htct780 soundbar which is sitting in my living room but couldn't spare the space for a wireless subwoofer in my bedroom. The dialogue from the soundbar is fine. I really like the combination of sound quality and price of Sony's soundbar and they also offer 3 HDMI inputs so no need for an external switcher. The bass is extremely tinny. I wasn't expecting the same sound as the unit with a separate sub, but I flt I got better sound quality from a 3 year old klipsch soundbar that this was replacing.
