Sound great with my Sony tv very nice for my bedroom

This sound bar is worth every penny. The sound is amazing. Very crisp and clear. It looks great too. No dissapointments.

The sound quality coming from this unit is exceptional!! I really wasn't expecting a lot but for a 2.1 sound system I personally don't think you can go wrong with this. It has VOICE adjustments which was one of my major complaints with some 5.1 systems also the subwoofers are strong and sharp without shaking everything in the room. Also instead of placing my TV on top of this unit I put my blu-ray player on it.

For those with smaller TVs and stands, this is a great option. No need to worry about the separate sub, and it looks very clean. Performance won't blow anyone away, but the value is good.

This sony sound bar replaced a Yamaha 7.1 receiver and 8 inch speakers in the ceiling And the sony performs great for the money spent Good highs great bass sounds great when streaming a movie All they need to do is match it with rear speakers

I wanted to buy a simple sound bar for my televison in the apartment. Didn't want something too loud. Boy, but I didn't expect to get such a good one, which best suited my case. This is perfect for small apartments. The Bass is just right for the small apartment's closed enclosures. I love my sound system for the television and would recommend this to be a beginner's sound bar kind of sound system for the televisions. Thanks Sony!

Finally a decent pedestal sound bar from a major company other than Bose. Sounds better than the Bose, has all the features you could want like 3 hdmi , bass and treble controls, volume leveling, etc. etc. all in a nice looking package. Great remote, although I CAN turn it on and off and control the volume with my Comcast remote so once set up, I really don't need it often. Word of advice, lower the subwoofers (dual subs) to 6 or 7 and it sounds great. I put it on the "Movie" sound field, the sub at 7 and I'm happy. Sony has hit a home run with this pedestal bar. They will sell many!

for the money this piece puts out very nice sound. It's a little bigger than I anticipated because of the built in subwoofer but overall very happy with the product.

This unit was easy to install and provides an excellent sound for most size rooms. It's SIGNIFICANTLY better than using the sound from the TV alone.

The video sound stage for small/medium size room is excellent. However for music the soundstage is tiny and bass is stressed. The biggest problem is the HDMI switcher stopped working after 30 days...Xbox 360 and Wii U wont turn on unless they bypass the sony and must be plugged directly into my TV. I understand this is not an ES series device but Sony's quality should be reflected on every device they stamp their logo on. Disappointing. Bestbuy.com- i tried to do a straight exchange to replace the defective item , but I was told its not possible. My options are to go to the store for a refund or option 2, send it back to bestbuy.com for a refund. No exchange. The bestbuy.com shopping experience is not very fun if you need to exchange an item and the item is not available at your local store. This is a reason why you are losing the E-commerce battle. All around FAIL TL;DR- sounds good for video, weak for music. HDMI switcher failed after 30 days. Bestbuy.com not helpful to exchange item.

I set this up in my office where I have an xbox and a second TV. I have no room for a full sound system so I didn't want to have a large subwoofer either. This works just fine for that purpose.

I just bought a brand new Samsung 65 inch HDTV. I decided that for this new era of tv bliss that I no longer wanted to use my Vizio 5.1 Soundbar system. I love it and it worked seamlessly with my Vizio television but frankly I'm tired of the big, bulky soundbar obstructing my view. So I started looking for alternatives and fell in love with the concept of the soundbase. The zVox system appealed to me because it was $100 cheaper than the Bose Solo 15, but the Zvox wouldn't be available for delivery until AFTER my television is delivered and I really want everything set up at once. I went to a Best Buy store expecting to get a Bose Sol at $450, but then I saw this Sony system for almost half the price. I decided to go cheap and take a chance. Not to mention my local BBs didn't even have the Bose in stock. A key reason I got this over the Bose was it wasn't in stock and the radical price difference. I also liked the fact that this has a very nice LED. One of the things that drove me nuts with my Vizio sound bar was the display remote was so bad that it became a chore to use it because I couldn't see any of the settings. The display on this unite is nice, big, and clear. There's also a button where you can turn it off or set the dimming level. I wish the Bose had this. The issue is, the sound quality is TERRIBLE. I don't know if it's because I'm used to the 5.1 or not. The volume only goes up to 50 and it feels like you need to turn it up to 30 or 40 before you can even hear it. The tone is very reedy and there's very little base. On the higher levels it breaks up, rattles, and you can hear "scratches." At no point did I feel like it "filled" the room or that it was a true "virtual surround" sound. I know virtual surround isn't real surround, but I've heard soundbars in this price range that had far superior virtual surround. I tried the various audio presets and none of them worked well. I'm definitely returning this and getting the Bose. Sometimes you just have to splurge. I wish Best Buy actually had the Zvoxx in stock.

I bought this for my 50 inch TV, it works as intended. I am happy with my purchase.

This sound system was very easy to hook up right out of the box. The three HDMI ports were a huge plus, and the adjustable settings were very easy to learn and customize. It is a great option for any room.

It doesn't have the sound quality that the higher end sound systems do but I got this on sale for $140 so for the price it was a good deal. It doesn't take up much space and is very easy to hook up.

Has plenty of good sound and Bass for my medium size family room at low levels and high levels, Love it !!

Compliments my 55in. Sony Bravia. Sound is great for my living room.

This system works well in a smaller space. The base is not overwhelming but adequate for most viewing. Newer televisions may not fit on top of this unit due to their stands being too narrow. I used a platform mount that I bought online.
