This is a surprisingly good performer for a low price. Good control of base and treble. Excellent remote control with all functions available and ability to set stations numerically from the remote.

As a unit used in a garage stereo performs well enough with the price tag associated to high end units. No need for the high end units in a garage due to the acoustics in the environment.

Bought to replace a 25 year old two channel receiver to use with speakers for secondary tv. Good sound. Have always had luck with Sony products. Good price for open box. All parts included.

I was looking to replace my Technic receiver that was 35+ years old. This Sony receiver fits my needs of a basic receiver that I can turn on and listen to music while I'm fixing dinner.

The tuner is pretty good and it was easy to hook into our home system. It's easy to switch from sound in the entire home to just the portion you want to hear music/radio in.

We bought this Sony receiver to replace an old Yamaha that had given out. It was quick and easy to hook up both to our home theatre system and outdoor speaker system. I would definitely recommend it!

Hooked it up to my turntable and we love it so much

I just had an old receiver/amplifier die after a decade and a half. This is a good replacement for connecting radio and CD player to my speakers. It works well and is easy to setup.

We were planning to listen to our stereo on the deck and the receiver we had didn't work anymore. We went to Best Buy and got this model and now we are enjoying music on the deck again!!

Sony is always a great product to buy at any price

This replaces an old set-up that finally died. It was easy to set up and works well with the rest of the things I purchased at the same time -- all middle-level equipment for a home office audio system.

Needed a receiver fast. Always listen to tv w my speakers on so I needed an affordable one. Came home plugged it in, set stations and I I'm a happy camper!! And it was on sale which was an added bonus!

My husband wanted to buy this receiver to replace an old radio that was hooked up to speakers in our home. My husband hooked it up with no problem and he loves it. It does the job for us. The price wasn't bad either.

I purchased this unit to use in my garage work shop. Cost reasonable, easy to hook up, reception fine and easy to use, I purchased mainly to run my portable sirius radio unit thru it and it works fine.

I bought this as a birthday gift a month ahead of time so the review is a bit late. The changer works great and is very compatible with the 5-disc cd player I also purchased. Great performance at a great price.

This receiver is compact and fits in a shallow cabinet we have and that was mostly the criteria for purchasing this item. For the cost it does what we want it to do.
