Best buy is the best way to purchase these cards. If ordering through the Sony store online you have to wait 5-7 days before you're able to get card information.

Nothing special about a stored value card. I use it for DLC and that's it. Convenient and safe for transactions. Only gripe is it has to be mailed out rather than an instant code or email.
