I love the idea of the PSN card because some people prefer not putting their personal credit or bank card on PS Store. I cannot blame gamers for that. This is the best option if you plan on buying or renting games, movies, tv shows & more. I decided to purchase PSN for $50 bucks because that is more than enough for me. Definitely worth it for any gamer.

With PSN's history of security breaches, you might be wary about using your credit card to make purchases on the PS Store. Not to worry though, because with these PSN cards you can add funds to your wallet without having to worry about "hackers" having access to your credit information. We purchased this as a gift for our son. He used it to renew is membership so he could continue online gaming. We had to get another gift card to get $10 more for the membership, since the ps4 site wouldn't let me directly add to my ps4 "wallet". So, I prefer purchasing gift cards - they redeem without issue.
