Does not work when streaming to twitch. But it’s responsive, I played COD and it was great with local dimming enabled on high. You could turn that off for faster response time, but to me it’s fine. I have my response setting to one above normal, I believe that’s fast, and the. Faster is the last option, which should not be used too much overshoot. HDR brightness if good and colors look great. The speaker are okay in a pinch, I use external speakers.

The INZONE M9’s Preset picture modes are designed to optimize picture quality for specific use cases. Standard, FPS and Cinema preset modes are tuned for overall balanced performance, optimized for FPS games, and for enjoying cinematic content like streaming movies or videos, respectively. For more customized performance, we recommend using Game 1 or Game 2 and turning off HDR to ensure your customized settings are not overridden. Please note that the available settings differ depending on Preset mode or input signals: -When the Preset mode is set as Standard, FPS game, or Cinema: Sony provides optimized picture settings by default, and menu items are grayed out, except Brightness, Local Dimming and Aspect Ratio. -When the Preset mode is set to Game1 or Game 2: Can be adjusted with desired settings. If Eco mode is on, the menu items are grayed out. -When the input signal is HDR: Only Local Dimming and the Aspect ratio can be set. For additional brightness, contrast and gamma control, please try changing Black Equalizer setting from 0 – 3, under the Gaming Assist menu. I’ve enjoyed mine for a while but my one complaint is switching inputs takes so long, and sometimes never recognizes my consoles.

Defective/ has serious issues

But could not get it to work with my PC and display native 4K 144hz. The monitor appears to be on and accepting the signal while showing a white LED to indicate - but only showed the black blank screen. tried reinstalling my video drivers etc. and no luck. Monitor seemed defective. did not see a monitor firmware update on Sony support site. this is unfortunately a immediate return for me.

We hope that the cable you are using is of a latest version. Make sure that all connections are secured. Sometimes cables are the easiest cause for concern and fix most issues like a black screen. Great pair for with the ps5

Overall I’m happy with it only small complaint I have it’s you can’t swivel the monitor at all it’s just up and down but that’s just me being nit picky.

Great 4K monitors

It's easy to switch the inputs between my work and gaming machine. The picture quality is great and the stands are very nice in that they don't take up a ton of space in the front which is a bonus.

Great Picture with Full-Array

Two faulty monitors in a row - not cool!

Can’t have that if you’re trying to play competitively. So I returned it and payed the extra $ for a new one. Same issue! Made sure it wasn’t the cable I was using, none of my other monitors have any issues. Updated the monitor to its newest software/firmware and still, same issue. I’d highly recommend looking elsewhere for a better quality 4K gaming monitor, LG makes some very good models. Will be returning the Sony monitor, (again), soon. Picture quality looks great but you can’t win games if your screen keeps turning off. There’s better 4K monitors for better prices.

Sorry to hear about your experience, this is certainly not the experience want you to have. Thank you for your feedback. The latest firmware version is M009 for the INZONE M90. May we ask if you are using HDMI or Display port for your video source? HDMI will have a HDCP hand shake that may sometimes cause screens to go black if the hand shake is lost. For reasons of the cable not being seated correctly on both the pc or the monitor. Simple unplug and plugging back in should rectify this if the cable is not seated correctly on the pc end or monitor. Not using the correct spec HDMI or Display port cable can cause the same effect.
