Great quality and affordable

I hooked these speakers up to back of my new Denon AVR which has a connection for "Misc Speakers" which is two additional rear speakers or Atmos Speakers. In this case, I chose Atmos. Naturally, they will emit sound when Atmos is part of the audio being broadcast/streamed.

They are currently sitting stop my two floor standing speakers. You need to make sure you have the correct setup in order to enjoy Atmos. I just haven't been blown away by the current setup and the expected "bouncing" off the ceiling as described. I could probably mount them on the wall on either side of the TV but not sure I want to go that route yet.

I haven't yet used them with an UHD or standard blu-ray disc, however, I expect the uncompressed trueHD + atmos effects to sound great from blu-ray since the lossy tracks from those streaming services sound really good. I got these on sale for $100 a pair.
