Probably move these to the front location and swap the Onkyo to the back. These are heavier and appear to be better to reproduce sound. I would have got the Elacs but then I would need four instead of two.

The "height" function is not obvious since they sit on top of my floor mounted speakers, you hear the sound from the speaker. The concept that the sound bounces off the ceiling doesn't really work and I'm not inclined to mount them on the wall but they add something to the spatial reference.

quality speakers but a little pricey

I wanted to add Atmos speakers when I found out that my XBox One X would output Atmos sound to my receiver. Got these speakers, configured the receiver to use the up-firing channels, and sure enough I've got the full Atmos experience for games as well as Atmos-encoded movies.

They are perfect for my home theatre sound system in my family room. We have them wall-mounted in a tight space and fortunately they're not too big. you can't go wrong with Sony.

Perfect for small sized room and if the space is bigger, it is probably recommended to buy another pair.

Can't really tell if they make a difference or not in my Livingroom. May work better if you don't have a vaulted ceiling. Can't go wrong with Sony though and they were priced very reasonably.

Priced Good Enough For Two Sets

After hooking them all up, I watched “Ready Player One". It sounded very theater like. The price made the purchase an easy choice.

For one, they are small at 4" and being a $150 kit is a bit steep. They work well IF you can find a source that naively utilizes atmos. Otherwise I think they'd be a fine purchase.. Get these on sale for ~$100-110 for a great package.

I have these sitting on my mains, so they fire the sound at an angle off the ceiling to simulate side speakers.

Home theater must have!

I didn't realize what I was missing. It sounds absolutely GREAT now.
