Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these speakers as an open box item for $105.00 to add Dolby speakers for my newly purchased 7.1 /Dolby Atmos receiver. These are upward firing speakers and are supposed to reflect downward from the ceiling ,but I did not get that result. The room has about an 8 foot ceiling but ceiling is tiled. I put speakers high on back wall for better sound. Sound is functional but does not sound full range. I isolated speakers during opening scenes of Top Gun : Maverick and did hear sounds isolated to Dolby speakers.

Good set of speakers to start with

They can be set on top of existing towers or up on the ceiling if that is possible. A good set for the price, and a nice starting set.

Great for rear surround sound

Tidal does have atoms music and sounds great in these and extends soundstage as they should but must have correct content to maximize use or bang for buck

-Check the surrounding setting on the AV receiver.
-Check that the sound source of the software you want to play is a surround sound source.
