These are great speakers for family room, game room, with a great full sounding audio. I was surprised to see that they are very good build quality, also they are good sized speakers- not to big and not to small and I love how they enhance our listening experience! Overall, this speaker system, has excellent sound and easy set up. We have a 10+ year old Sony DVD home theatre system -that the speakers went out a couple of years back (DAV-HDX465) we connected these Sony speakers to it and are very impressed with the outcome! I would recommend this to a friend

These are high resolution speakers and pair well with my 4k high resolution sony receiver. I use them for the front. I have Polks for surround and Bose for high front surround. A Kenwood center and 2 Polk subs. Make sure all settings on the receiver match the rear connections. Auto calibrate. Set front speaker settings to small and voila. Crystal clear sound from these Sonys is amazing. Watching Tears for Fears Going to California is like being front and center being able to hear all those high notes and percussions without strain. These are a bargain.

These speakers are half the size of my standard bookshelf/front speakers but sound twice as good. I have tested them for Atmos, and was satisfied, then switched to test as front speakers and was equally blown away. I'm tempted to purchase another set to up my sound. They pack some weight, but that is explained the minute you fire them up. Great speakers with clean sound to add to your set-up.

Really had fun hooking up these Sony Dolby Atmos speakers to amplifier and attaching to wall. Sony has great history in audio devices from past experience with products. The Dolby Atmos is an excellent sound that bounces off the wall from 50 inch 4K television. Great addition to basement or man cave to enhance powerful lifelike action from game systems.

When it comes to home cinema, anything to make the experience better is more than welcome0and these speakers didn't disappoint! The Sony SSCSE speakers work well to help elevate the audio making the voices crystal clear without drowning out the other sounds in the scene. My experience with this speakers is similar to the first time watching a movie in 4k, it made the sound fill the room without any distortion. I love these speakers!

So I was very excited about adding these elevation speakers to my collection. My room has a very expensive OLED Ultra HD TV, my gaming system, sound bar, subwoofers the whole nine yards. So, you’d think this would be perfect right? Eh.. First unboxing and packaging was the beginning of my woes with this unit. It comes in list a regular brown box with one layer of thin plastic over the units. The packaging was NOT adequate or safe my unit came scratched and banged up and I expect more from Sony honestly to protect their products a little better despite what may happen during shipping and handling. My second woe... you’d think that the cords needed to hook it right up would be included right? Nope wrong they are extra so I had to go out and get the needed cords. So once all of that was out the way the sound quality is really great and it was almost everything I had expected but I feel like if I stick with these I need to get more? Possibly for the ceiling to get the desired experience I thought I would have I’m not sure but I feel like it’s left my satisfied but it lacks on its own.

These speakers offer a much fuller sound experience. most speakers face front, or most tv speakers are at the back of the tv. These face upward to the ceiling which is unlike most speakers. I added these to my sound bar, sub digital receiver setup which has atmos. I did have a little trouble hooking them up but once they got going I was very impressed!

These things do what they’re supposed to do! They sit flawlessly on top of the Sony tower speakers and come with brackets to mount them on top. Pure pocket melted chocolate

Loving these Sony - 4" Dolby Atmos Enabled Elevation Speakers. If you're into Home Cinema Audio then these will be a good option to add to your setup. Just make sure your AV receiver is Dolby Atmos enabled and the content you are watching supports Dolby Atomos to get all the benefits. I initially had these setup as front height speakers then decided to move them to the rear which works much better for my room setup. You can hear some of the most detailed sounds in movies while you are watching them. They look nice and fit in with the rest of my audio equipment. These are nice sounding speakers.

Mounted these to the wall on each side of my 65" LG Oled TV. Sounds amazing. The sound fills the room. Unbelievable how much difference these speakers make to my already great sound system.

Best Dolby Atmos speakers with best Dolby Atmos affect sound

Bought these to go from 5.1 to 5.1.2. My "theater room" is pretty small....10x11x10 or so. My fronts are about 8.5 ft away from my main listening position where I positioned these Atmos speakers. I have the ideal, flat drywall ceiling as recommended by Dolby. I honestly wasn't too impressed. I believe my front speakers already give me a large enough sound stage where I couldn't tell there was anything reflecting off the ceiling with these. I tried bumping up the volume in the AVR, which helped some, but eh. I put them on top of my rear speakers which are about 4ft away from my listening position and they did better there, but again, not by much. I think if you can get them on sale they aren't bad, but hardly a game changer in my experience

They are good speakers but performance is not quite as described.

This is not a speaker system to extend a sound bar. It is for a very particular set of SONY speakers. Unless you have that type it will not work. I am pretty tech savvy and based on the description I sure thought it would work with my Sony Dolby-Atmos enables sound bar but it will not.
