These are really nice speakers to add to your 5.1 setup. I watched some high intensity shows on Netflix with great sound effects and they do provide a little extra to the listening experience. Not to mention I got them on sale for half off of their original price.

Clean, crisp with enough bass for my taste. Tied with a Yamaha RX-483 receiver a JBL center channel speaker and Pioneer Floor Stand Speakers.. I've enabled watch ATMOS movie so it's amazing, you can feel the different when you watch ATMOS enabled movie through this small speakers.

These speakers completed my surround sound project and I couldn't be more happy. It makes an amazing difference with the right movie. Movies like Bohemian Rhapsody and Avatar are definitely show-off what these speakers can do with the right system. I highly recommend these speakers.

I suppose these are okay for as a basic up-ward firing Atmos speaker - they sound fine when listened to up close - but they didn't add much to my setup. I also found them a bit expensive for what they are, even on sale; I'm not sure the "Atmos Enabled" designation really means much of anything versus a regular small surround speaker. The dimensions of my room and seating configuration seemed like they were a decent match for the angle of the speaker, yet I didn't notice much effect even with Atmos-encoded and -decoded content. There is more atmosphere from older "height" speakers I have high on the wall from a PLIIz setup. So I ended up returning these and sticking with the heights.

Helicopters, fighter jets, UFO??? Pretty cool how these speakers tickle your ears. I have them mounted high, directly above my front left and right speakers. Good fun.

Magnificent speakers, I was using a Yamaha 120 watts outdoor speakers for my ceiling Dolby Atmos set up... these 100 watts Sony are louder and more crisp, it picks up smallest details! Very happy with my purchase!

I ended up sending these back and did not use them because I didn’t need them but i am sure they are good speakers. Sony has good quality products.

I truly love these speakers! I’ve been waiting for a long time to be able to have Dolby Atmos in my home and it has been a great experience. Paired with the DN1080 you really can’t go wrong with these bad boys.

I added these to my atmos receiver and I have to say it was a welcome addition. Even when just listening to music, they provide a much richer sound. They work well as atmos speakers as well. I especially notice it when playing some of my Xbox One games!!!

Updated my surround system to a unit with Dolby Atmos. I needed at least two up firing speakers to enable atmos and these where on sale at the time. These speakers are amazing! the sound is deep, crisp and just what i needed for my system. Will be adding a few more.

These speakers fit on top of the Sony tower speakers of the same model and look like they go together perfectly. They're an interesting alternative to installing in-ceiling speakers for Atmos. Would recommend if you're not interesting in ceiling-mounted speakers.

Great price for dolby atmos addition. Easy to set up and sound great.

I was skeptical at first but I bought these put them on top my Sony speakers which I also bought at Best Buy‘s and I am now not using my rear speakers because the front and the sides sound awesome I would highly recommend the speakers!

Great small-footprint Atmos speakers that I placed on top of my Linn Tukan front speakers. The Atmos speakers come with brackets to attach them to matching Sony speakers and these brackets worked perfectly also for my Tukans.

I purchased this pair along with the corresponding center channel speaker (SSCS8) and Bookshelf Speaker pair (SSCS5) to complete a 5.1.2 setup for gaming and streaming. Video output is to my Samsung 43" Q60 QLED smart TV and I use an XBOX ONE X for gaming. Audio and video is routed thru a Denon AVR-X3400H receiver (which I totally forgot I still had, LOL). The system is completed by Definitive ProMonitor 800 surround speakers (with RocketFish wireless speaker kit connection) which I already had and a Polk Audio PSW10 subwoofer which I also had. I have to say that after completing the setup I was blown away by the audio. I can't speak to using these speakers in a larger room -- all my speakers and TV are set up within 5 feet. Based on the output, though, I would say these speakers would be fine for a medium sized room. I haven't been able to test the speakers with a true Dolby Atmos source (why it's not 5 stars), but the nice thing about my receiver is that it recognizes the speakers as atmos enabled and will decode any source thru these speaker as well as the other speakers. The end result as stated above is in a word great! I just finished watching a streamed episode of Lost In Space on Netflix and I was there was great audio everywhere.

This really fill in a small 5.1 system. Using these as side surrounds. Work great for this. On a side note, they are built like tanks. Very heavy for the size.
