This TV is a bit more expensive than other 40" tvs, but I found the picture quality to be much nicer. After a couple of months of owning the set I have no complaints.

Really like this one..Not a heavy unit..The tv is ALL screen..NICE!.As I only buy Sony anyway.Never have had a problem with a Sony..

I replaced my 8 year old LCD Samsung tv, not that many Sony tv's available but quality is what matters. great picture and sound. Doesn't look cheap like other brands.

My son broke his TV and we went to replace it, this is the TV we settled on and its awesome, he loves it, it has plenty of HDMI ports and it also has NETFLIX!

Bought this t.v. and the color and shades of it is great! I play my ps4 on this t.v. and the graphics are crystal clear.

We purchased this 40" flat screen TV to replace an aging SONY WEGA analog TV and are very pleased. The picture is crisp and sharp, and the colors are bright and lively. Our two 20-something sons (who watch a lot of TV) say that they think it's a better presentation than our larger Mitsubishi LCD TV elsewhere in the house.

this is a great tv. when i first got this tv i had a small row of pixels out so i exchanged the tv . once i got the new one it works perfectly with great sound and quality

Bought 1 for the bedroom and for the living room. Easy to set up. Great picture! Great for Netflix. Sound isn't great. We have a sound bar for the living room.

Its a sony smart tv so you can expect good pictures and access to apps.

First HD tv and the color and picture look great!!

My wife and myself purchased this TV to mount on the wall in our bedroom. We were going to pick up the newer model of this TV but they did not have any in store. After reading reviews and looking into it we decided to go ahead with it, due to there not being much difference. The TV was easy to setup and place on the mount and is pretty clear. The screen looks good as well as the colors are warm and pleasing to the Eye. The software for the most part is easy to use. You can access everything from one location but also have the option to access apps and other features through the remote or other menu. So far the only issue with the TV is that it sometimes tends to lag between menus and that causes it to feel like its not registering, but this is not often. And the wireless has dropped twice (but this could be caused by my local WIFI) So I ran a network cable and all is well. So far I do like the TV its perfect for the bedroom dude to the quieter speakers and size. I would recommend this TV.

Purchased this tv in December 2014, in July the HDMI inputs stopped working while i was on vacation...I would give it 5 stars as it is a Wonderful TV, but i cannot since it is now useless...I just wish Sony Support was better, After 3 calls to Sony Support promising to send someone to repair it and 11 days of nobody calling me back to setup an appointment, I cannot give this more than one star as I am basically getting the runaround between Sony support and the repair company they want to send out...Very disappointed and getting ready to dispute the charges on my BestBuy card and throw the TV in the trash...
