It is a huge step up from what we used to watch. The Black is deeper and richer than on my last TV. We watch TV in our living room which is flooded with light during the day. With our old TV we could not see the picture if it was really sunny out. Now that is not nearly as much of an issue.

And as a bonus it comes with a wall mounting kit. If you buy a wall mount swivel kit be sure to allow for the connections being in the center of the television back.

But since neither of those things happened - i am only somewhat happy with my purchase.

The clarity and sharpness of detail of the picture is immediately noticeable as compared to other brands. Whether watching right in front of the tv or even off to the side at an angle, the picture to me seems a cut above other popular brands.
