We are very happy with this HD TV color,image,size, and sound.we recommended this item but unfortunately the customer service at Best Buys wasn't good at all in all areas

I purchased this television to replace a similar product. I love owning a smart tv. With the built-in browser and wi-fi, I don't need extra equipment and I am not stuck with an annoying cable bill. The picture quality is excellent from every angle. It came with brackets to mount on the wall, as well as a stand. I had the product in use in a very short time.

This TV has excellent whites and blacks that are very consistent with the spectrum. The refresh rate is excellent.

This TV has a beautiful picture (For me I use in the bedrrom to just watch occasionally). I am a bit picky about a family room/Gaming/Movie watching TV so some may find this to work just fine for that. I don't like that it takes a while for the app page to load. As soon as you turn on the tv it tells you to wait while it powers up before you can access it. Getting to the settings is too complicated as well. The TV is very light but has awkwardly positioned holes if you want to mount onto a wall so check before hand. I played Destiny on the PS4 and it was pretty much what I expected for the price I payed. If you don't need a fancy 4K or OLED tv then this is the way to go.

Great quality pictures and smart TV built in for watching movies from Amazon and Netflix is awesome. Easy set up online/ Wifi. Just one thing, for wall mount, screw holes on the back of the TV located on lower part of TV, so you need to find right kind of wall hanger, ether wise, some part of hanger sticks out from bottom of TV...

This tv is great and would recommend it to everybody! i was looking for a tv for my bedroom so i didn't want anything to big so the size was perfect. The price for this thing was to good to pass up seeing as this is a full 1080p smart tv, i dint think it was possible to get a smart tv for this price. It is a very light weight tv as well so that makes it easy for moving or mounting on the wall. the picture quality is great! and having netflix and all the apps already pre loaded is super convenient. all around an excellent television!

I helped my grandmother purchase this TV at her local Best Buy. She likes the Sony brand name so she was drawn to this TV. It was the right size for her room and had the right type of stand to fit on her furniture. Set up was very easy, power cord and HDMI cable to her cable box. Ran through a few menus on the first start up to connect to her WiFi and set the time etc. Once it was set up completed I messed with a couple of the display settings and it was good to go. It connected to the internet easily and I was accessing the built in apps with no issues. The picture is good, not great but not bad either. For $450ish for a 42" smart its not bad at all. Would purchase again.

I bought this TV with an eye towards mounting it in my bedroom, but have yet to get to the mounting part. Even so, it fits the bill ably in terms of delivering a great picture, great value and all at a great price. I haven't utilized all of the features just yet, but love that as a Smart TV there's Netflix already integrated. As far as set up was concerned, it literally was a plug-and-play deal.

After one month we have had no issues. The picture is great, the audio is decent. It is easy to set up. The "smart" part of the TV, ie netflix etc. works great. There are adequate inputs. The only complaint is the manual controls are poorly labeled and in the back of the set, so without a remote, the TV is pretty much useless.

Excellent quality picture. Very light and easy to mount on the wall if using a third party high quality wall mount. Wall mount that comes with the TV doesn't do justice to the quality of the TV. Power supply not long enough. Extension chord required for most applications.

The Sony Bravia works well and the picture is clear. One downside is the volume. You will need to turn it up to hear the dialogue more clear. That can solved with a soundbar. The biggest downside is the lag time from the remote. It will take several seconds for a response upon starting up. After the TV has been on a for while, the lag time for response drops off. Since this is not my main TV, it has not been a big issue, but it could be for others. Hopefully there will be an update to improve this feature.

Nice Sony picture. Stable metal stand. Light weight. Easy hookup. Need to download the manual for settings adjustment. Quick start guide poster may not be enough.

Good picture. Disappointed that the remote includes regular and analog stations. Wish all instructions were printed in booklet. Would like to have the stand lift the TV another inch or two.

A great TV overall, smart features are easy to use, and tv is very light, easy to put on wall. Picture quality is one of the best and would suggest to any looking, to think Sony first.

This Smart TV has a great picture and lifelike color. It was easy to set up with my wifi and you can stream tons of apps very easily.

the picture and sound quality are real clear. Set up was simple and fast. Tv is very light weight and easy to walk mount.

The only thing I don't like about it is how long it takes to "power on". Takes WAY longer than necessary. I guess I don't like how long it takes to think in general sometimes, but I don't know how much of it is because of the quality of my WiFi connection. I don't have a great connection sometimes. I have it in a super tiny space so I don't need a sound bar. Good picture quality.

Excellent, easy set up, works great. Only a few nits: 1) It requires a media server in order to access your personal media over a network; my previous experience with LG networked products was that they could see shared files directly and one could browse the directory structure with no need for a media server running. This TV can't do that. Fortunately a lot of storage devices now have a built-in media server, so not such a big deal. 2) The browsing function for the media player does not include a "search" option; if you have a lot of media, it can get annoying to scroll through to find what you want. 3) There are a few apps that I would have really liked to see included, particularly IHeartRadio (to allow receiving of local & internet radio stations). There are really minor issues. It's a great product.
