The only problem I have is sound randomly going out. Have reset the hdmi EARC when it happens. Currently talking to Sony how to fix or if there is a fix

TWO replacements in 1 week for defects

Right out of the box, the sound was cutting in and out between full sound and then to treble/dialog only with no bass or background sound. Tried everything suggested by Sony tech to fix (IMPOSSIBLE to understand and hear them with their headsets). Sony said it's new, return to store. I ordered same model to replace it, got it today. Got it all set up and before I could install my apps, it shut down. I powered it up again and the red LED light was blinking 4 times, meaning the motherboard was defective. Again I called Sony (horrible tech support) and they said, again, return it to the store for a refund. So in 8 days I got this model twice, and both times it was defective. I can't begin to tell you how many hours I spent with both of them (the first one I had fully calibrated and all my apps installed when the sound went). For a $1300 TV, I give a big thumbs down, TWICE. Too bad, because the picture was great in every way. Really disappointed. And now my 75 year old 5' tall self has to bring these 2 45-lb huge boxes back to the store because no one will pick them up.

Sleep Timer is a bust

We were excited by the picture quality, sound quality not so great. Our main problem with it was - as we use this in our bedroom - the Sleep Timer is far more difficult to access than the previous Sony. Before: click the Timer button on the remote, select amount of minutes, done. Now, click some box with some symbol (get your manual out now, but don’t expect much help), then click Settings, then find ( near the end of the line) Clock & Timers, then select Sleep Timer, THEN you can do what you want… if you’re still awake. Bravo, Sony for making a key feature so REMOTE!

Press the (Quick Settings) button on the remote control, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — the desired option.
In Timers & Clock, you can set the Timer, Sleep timer, Alarm, and Clock display. For easier access, you can add Timers & Clock to the input selection screen. For more details please check the link below.
