I have 600 or so songs on my Samsung S4 phone and this stereo connects effortlessly. It's so amazing that when I get a call it mutes and soon as call is ended it resumes. I keep it max volume and control the volume with my phone. It could be a little louder but that's just me because I like everything blasting. We will be buying another to use rca hookups for the bedroom tv.

USB Port More Poor Qualities than Good Ones though: 1. Light display does not turn off while plugged in. 2. No headphone Port for attachment of any device. 3. Bulky. Not easily Portable, but the weight isn't bad for the size. 4. The sound is not as full as you would expect. Some speakers that are 1/4 the size of this have 10x the volume and depth of this one. -- I would not recommend this to everyone, there are other more viable options available on the market for comparable prices and sizes.

Based upon the specifications of this device, you can turn off the light illumination by pressing LED SPEAKER repeatedly to select “LED OFF”.
