Pretty decent but I expected better bass for the price

I bought this to put in my polebarn. Work alright but my barn is 3000 square feet and it is not as loud as I had hoped. I have a 20+ year old JVC boom box that is louder.

Not as loud as at the store.......................

Definitely not 420w. Expected more from the sound.

I brought this speaker because my family have a lot of out door functions, and we have a large yard, the blue tooth function with our ipad, iPhone was an amazing ideal we love this speaker

This beast easily bests other speakers in its price range or above such as the Monster Beats Beatbox or Zepellin Air. It sounds similar to a large 6.5 inch tower speaker pair in a Home Theater set up but in a single cabinet with great light effects, a hansome, well-made chasis, multiple connection options including (1. USB, 2. iPod cable plugged into USB, lightning dock, bluetooth, NFC, and RCA analog output. It has every base covered. Other great touches are a huge metallic smooth turn volume knob, veritical or horizontal placement options with good rubber feet for each, nice handle for grabbing and moving (hopefully only occasionally since it must weigh 30 pounds), and both AM and FM radio to round out the complete package. Perfect use for this is a teen basement area, entertaining for a holiday gathering, block party, or just a concert for the home with the lights out and one of 15 or so programmable light shows to create great music ambiance for your occasion. I bought this for my father's birthday. He loves it! It has bluetooth, bass, and great clear sound!

This Sony - 420W Portable Party Speaker System can really pump out the tunes loud and clear. Bluetooth was flawless using my phone. Also used a laptop computer via a 3.5mm to RCA cable without a problem. I got it on sale which made my purchase even better. I'm very happy with my purchase!

I've been researching a system to use for small parties and tailgating and a couple of guys brought this speaker to a tailgate once. Loved it! It filled up the courtyard with clear sound. The LEDs are a nice touch, especially in a dark room. The NFC/Bluetooth connection works flawlessly. The Apple dock works great as well. The only drawback that I have is it has a short power cord, so you almost always have to use a heavy duty extension cord. Got this for a great deal brand new from a 3rd party retailer, and I would never go back on the purchase.

Only product purchased from best buy that was not impressed with. No item on floor to listen to at time of purchase and box would not be opened to listen to. I purchased this to preform the music at my wedding and was not at all happy with it..

Just picked this box up today. The sound quality is AMAZING!!! Easy to pair with my phone, instructions are clear and easy to understand. And the volume is house shaking.

I highly recommend this party box speaker, sound is fantastic and the lights make the party going on,sync with Bluetooth is quick .

Pick this up yesterday for our deck out back when we entertain. And all I have to say is WOW! The sound quality was tremendous, easy to use bluetooth connectivity, crazy cool LED lights that fluctuate with the music, and it even has a dock for my iPhone 5! This is hands down the best portable stereo I have ever owned.

My family has a mix of Android phones and tablets and iPods and this speaker system will play them all. Sound quality is very good for this price range. We use ours outside on our pool deck so my only concern is the glossy finish on the top of the unit getting scratched up. Overall it was well worth the money!

great system just haven't actually been able to power off just goes to stand by mode my main concern was after chatting with a online member and copying & pasting the exact model they told me it holds a charge of up to 10 hrs so i had decided to purchase for that reason (portable) so am fairly disappointed on that part may just return it as it no longer (but it is great unit)

It's just a great overall stereo. It's bigger then I thought but well Werth the purchase. It plenty loud enough for your party or get together.

Bought this initially to move onto the deck for use by the hot tub. Haven't really used it that was , only a few times. Is too bulky and heavy to move around..............but that's why it sounds so good. Ended up replacing the marine radio in the tub, and this has been just sitting there. It's portable, but not easily. If your are looking for something with great sound and easily portable check out the newer BOSE units. Very small and light, easily carried with one hand, yet excellent sound and they pack a punch. I also still am having difficulty getting the Sony it to operate quickly when hooking up an Iphone, Ipod. Have reviewed the manual, but doesn't seem intuitive.

Everybody is complaining of not enough bass it knocks pictures of the walls in my house and it is all ways at full blast and still sounds amazing.

I just bought this Sony music system today and this thing Rocks. Wow! The Sound! The BBQ's are going to be awesome this year!
