I bought this Sony TV to replace a 20+ year old TV. I wanted a respected and reliable brand. Didn't care to have too many extras. Just a smart TV. I like it. The sound could be a little better. Still trying to tweak the audio settings.

For the price you can't beat this SONY BRAVA if you want a smart Google TV.

Bought this to replace my 10 year old LG tv. What a great difference! The sound is clear, the colors are vibrant and the picture quality is high def! The dvds I'm used to watching look so vivid and even the dark scenes that i used to squint at before are now visible! Highly recommend this tv.

So, if you're like me you've probably gone online and read about Sony tvs being so-so at this price point and to pick an LG or Samsung comparatively. Well, I did my research and I can say, the tv is worth it as its been about 2 months in since purchase. I also read of tcl, lg, samsung getting warm on the front of the screen with potential lemons from the brands based off how they built their tvs differently. Sonys dont get warm or hot if left on for long periods of time. Got this for my mom in her 60s, upgrading from a non-hd tv to this beauty and the difference is night and day to her benefit. If you dont need the slickest tv for motion (fast things like sports), its perfect for daytime tv or shows/news. Sports are okay but for the money the expectation was never going to be sky high. Set-up from opening the box, to setting up the legs, then zipping through the google tv software in 15-20 minutes. Is it ever going to perform like an oled tv that is multiples more expensive? No. But if you want something that will last many years, easy to set-up, and can leave on without burn-in... This is for you. Most will see this as an upgrade if you havent gotten a new tv in many years or if you have older parents. The ones who seem to dislike it may be expecting the world for $400-ish dollars. With reasonable expectations its a homerun.

Beautiful picture, great price, easy to operate (once it was finally set up) for those of us who are technology challenged.. I can stream content from my phone, from my comcast flex box, and from all of the preloaded apps already on the TV. It's pretty easy to switch between the everything too. I couldn't be happier with it right now.

It has very nice colors without having any adjustments needed. It's very reasonable priced.

We bought this as a new tv for my mom, who was replacing an older Samsung. The set up was easy, the picture is typical Sony clear, and the volume can be turned up LOUD (which my elderly mother is very happy about). In terms of ordering, Best Buy made it easy to order. When the location did not have the tv in stock, they quickly got in touch, and offered alternative locations. The pickup from the alternative location I picked was easy and quick.

was looking for the best entry level tv option and decided on this. bought this tv for my mom and she loves it. set up in her bedroom. its no oled but for an entry level tv, it is great. standard led display that shoots in 4k and you get sony’s infamous x1 processor that displays natural imaging in terms of color.

Sony is my go to TV. I'm very pleased with this model. Color, clarity, sound, all great! ( Have your Google password handy on initial setup). The built in Google feature is also very handy. If you used a Google dongle before you won't need it with this model. All in all thumbs up. ( I also bought online and pickup in store, both were seemless.

I’m partial to Sony products, but after my last TV went out (a somewhat smaller Westinghouse non smart TV using LED backlit LCD, also purchased from BestBuy) I found this 43” Bravia smart TV on sale, and paired it with a Sony sound bar. I think the picture looks great, and although the internal speakers sound fine, the viewing experience is really enhanced by the Sony sound bar. With UHD 4K resolution capability, this Sony Bravia, which is embedded with Google Smart TV technology, was a no brainer!

PSA I got this as an open box during holiday sales. Product was as described and free of cosmetic and functional defects. I have a note on this at the end. Onto the review! I was stunned at the quality of picture and sound. I realized when you’re looking at TVs in store you can’t really assess the quality in sound and picture because of the ambient noise and harsh lighting. The sound quality is what stands out the most. The only issue is that I notice sudden increases in sound more and none of the adjustments in settings seen to make a difference. HOWEVER it has a Bluetooth feature that I can hook up to my AirPods Pro when I don’t want to disturb anyone. The picture quality is so good that I’m becoming a glare snob. It actually motivated me to finally put up those curtains I’ve been putting off. Sure, I could have spent less on a cheaper product and it would have been comparable with my old tv… but if I’m honest that model would work for 3-5 years before sound/picture issues would start. I wanted something that was going to last longer and everything I read about Sonys is how they last so long people usually get rid of them because they’re upgrading to the new model for better sound/picture. Open Box review: always do this if you have the option. Even the lowest quality option, as long as it’s not refurbished, is basically the same new product minus packaging and/or a few factory accessories you either throw out or replace with better ones.

This TV is great! Picture and sound quality are fantastic, it's easy to navigate the interface, and it's so much smoother than my old TCL! The downside was the Best Buy experience. I ordered this product Open Box in Excellent condition, which means it should come with all of the pieces. My TV was missing its remote. The first Best Buy agent I spoke to told me I had to transport my entire 43" TV to a physical Best Buy store, return it, and wait for a replacement in the mail. As a disabled woman who does not drive and whose nearest Best Buy is a 30+ minute drive away, this was not feasible. A few days later, I contacted Best Buy again with another set of solutions to propose: if they could either A) mail me a remote or B) give me a $20 gift card to cover the cost of me buying one, that would work for me. The new agent said that neither of those were possible but that if I could make it to a Best Buy store, I could get a replacement remote there without having to bring the TV. After mathing it out, I discovered it would be more expensive for me to go all the way to a Best Buy and back than for me to buy a replacement remote (Sony brand, and all) on Amazon. So I did that instead. I simply don't understand why the onus was on me when it was Best Buy's mistake when checking the open box item that caused the issue in the first place.

Great picture, easy set up. Hit my streaming shows loaded with touch from the remote. Only thing I can’t figure out is the remote only has pause and start on it. No backup or fast forward I use a lot when streaming. No biggy, I’ll figure that one out. lol. Perfect size for my RV Bedroom. Had a hard time getting my sound bar switch to more of a brass sound, hate treble, hurts my ears. But it’s working now.
