    Bad erratic performance after 1 month of use

    I am having problems with this TV with the set turning off by itself or locking up on the Chromecast HDMI setting. Also, it switched the remote TV HDMI setting from one HDMI channel to another without any manual changes. Also, the screen went blank, with black and white vertical lines as though it was burned out.

    Did not like the interface with android tv, remote is too big. Couldn’t get it to work with my sound bar. Picture quality was dim. Ended up exchanging for a Samsung. It maybe was defective but I did not enjoy setting it up.

    I have owned a few Sony tv's, but this one to me the quality is just not there. Also the speakers they have on this tv sounded like it was in a tin can. Returned it. Apparently they have changed something in the 43" tv's (Bravia Model) that's the other tv I have and it was just not the same.

      On the remote control, press the HOME button. > Select Customer Support under System Settings. > Select View Test Picture under Picture Check.

    Good picture but sound regularly doesn't sync with the picture. Have to turn the power off and restart TV even to the point that I use a surge protector to make it east to cut the power.

      What source are you playing when the audio and picture are not synced? Make sure to turn on the Bravia sync of the television. To enable [BRAVIA Sync control], press the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [Watching TV] — [External inputs] — [BRAVIA Sync settings] — [BRAVIA Sync control].

    the dimensions are wrong

    the tv would have gotten 5 stars except that the dimensions for the screw holes to mount the tv on the wall are NOT correct causing me a big headache trying to find a mount to work. the mount I had would not fit the new tv. VESA Wall Mount Standard claims it is 200mm x 200mm in reality it is 100mm x 200mm!!! i called tech support and they were no help at all. they were rude and told me i was measuring the wrong holes and hung up on me!!!

    Horrible TV, I returned it the next day.

    I ordered the TV on the Best Buy app and it was delivered 2 days later. I returned it the next day to the Best Buy store. Didn't like the picture. The settings are hard to find. You cannot adjust the screen to fit the TV, it says not available. So when you watch a old show on Hulu, it doesn't let you adjust the screen ratio.

    The picture is clear and okay after I adjusted the brightness. The sound is awful. It is tinny, high pitched with not enough base in the tone. It cannot be adjusted in the settings. I am constantly trying to get a clear sound. The speaker system is not like the old Sony 32” that I had which was wonderful. The geek squad left so fast that I did not have time to have him work with me to adjust the quality of this tv.

When the input source does not contain much bass sound, as is the case with most TV programs, the bass sound may not be audible.

    The new SONY Bravia TV I bought from Best Buy died after 12 hours. The replacement arrived with a shattered screen. Getting someone on the phone involves a wait of 30 minutes-3 hours. I will never do business with Best Buy again.

    There are times when switching to monitor shows a black screen. The workaround is to go to setting and restart or unplug then replug tv. It has been a year and Sony hasn't fixed it and it is getting annoying. Had a Samsung tv/monitor that lasted 5 years with no issue.

    I wanted to exchange this TV for a larger one, but Best Buy made it very difficult to do this. Also, after paying $160 to complete setting the TV up I had to purchase two more cables at $30 a piece to connect the newer TV. I would think that the TV would come with complete cables to complete the job. Then they didn’t have the right cable to connect the DVD.....So the job was not completed.
