    This TV has been a wonderful edition to my bedroom. I have it hanging in front of the bed. For the best viewing angles when in bed. The picture is crisp and clean. Sound quality is amazing. It can be super loud, immersing yourself into whatever you're watching or playing. The size is a perfect fit for a bedroom TV. I plan on upgrading my other TVs to Sony when it's time.

    The screen has a shadow band about extending approx. 6" down from the top of the screen from one side to the other. Anything in this band appears darker than the rest of the screen. What do i have to do to get another tv????

      What do you mean shadow band? In the mean time, power reset the TV, simply unplug the unit and wait 1-2 minutes then plug the device back in and power on. If power reset doesn't work, check this link on how to isolate your picture issue.

    Extremely bad experience with "smart" Bravia TV

    Haven't been able to get set to function properly, even after consultation with GEEK squad member. Much too complicated for the average person to manage (I have a BA. plus a graduate degree). Too bad that the GEEK took away our old TV set.

    Less than a year after I purchased I haven’t had anything but trouble with it. They have tried to repair it 4 times with out success. I can’t even turn it on!!!

    Purchase this TV for my bedroom. Was going to buy a cheaper model but changed my mind after seeing it in the store. Picture quality was so much better and I'm glad I did. Blacks are very good. Little to no macro blocking on dark scenes. Excellent color. Easy setup. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

    Great picture but finicky interface. Since the latest update tv is sluggish and freezes fairly often requiring us to power off the unit at the power strip. Very very annoying. Hopefully there’ll be a new firmware update sometime soon.

    Excellent TV; difficult Apps connections.

    Purchased Samsung 43" QLED, but exchanged it 24 hours later. After getting it set up, had great difficulty with the remote navigating apps and other features. Uses a few buttons for many purposes. Sound was not too good and picture was OK. Have a 55" Sony XBR, so got the 43" Sony. 43" not as good as 55", but that is understandable. Sound and picture better than Samsung and remote is very user friendly. Only problem is that set up for GogglePlay to add apps requires a phone data plan, which I do not have. My 55" Sony emailed the information to me. Samsung did not have this data requirement and apps I wanted already loaded. Called Sony and they could not fix it. Called Best Buy and could never get anyone on the phone. Google has no phone or internet access that I could find. Finally found a link on internet that let me "register" with Goggle since I was already registered on two other sets. Would give the TV 5 stars if not for this problem.

There are several hundred apps already available with a consistent flow of new apps being released for the Android TV platform. The Google Play store opens the door to many apps you may already be using on your mobile devices. Also, some apps may require that the TV has the latest software update installed.     Nice bedroom tv

    Bought this tv a couple of weeks ago and it has been a great tv. It has one of the brightest and richest images I have seen in a 43 inch tv. I had an LG 43 inch 4K tv which is still a great tv that I gave to my parents in favor of the Sony tv since it had Dolby Vision and I wanted to take advantage of that. Colors are very rich. Watching blu ray is like watching a movie in the theater. That is how good the picture is. Settings are easy to adjust and hook up and joining my network through Wi-Fi was very easy. I have not done any streaming yet since I use Comcast Xfinity cable. I am sure streaming 4K content and gaming is excellent. Watching cable tv is good but not great. The quality of cable tv is not the same as blu ray quality or streaming 4K quality. With cable you have a much lower resolution and refresh rate compared to what this tv can do. With cable you will experience motion blur on some channels and programs but not all. You will need to turn on motion flow and set it to your preference and set the clarity, black frame insertion, to your preference as well. This is the same for other TVs I have as well as for other family members. It is what it is and there are online articles that discuss this with cable, satellite, and over the air. Pros: Rich colors due to a wide color gamut Clear and crisp picture Bright picture Excellent viewing angles Dolby Vision Cons: Cannot think of any except sound is average but it is not terrible. Not much of a con.
