Wish for a split screen monitor

My disappointment is that I bought the monitor to be able to operate a split computer screen and a TV program simultaneously, I am now left to my own devices to figure out how to make this work with a 190 page manual. There has ro be an easier way to get my wish working.

The only reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 are the price which, while not excessive, was a little to the high side (but worth the price), and the fact that smart tv's no longer have any output ports, so I can no longer synchronize my living room tv with my kitchen tv.

This tv is a great tv for gaming. Movies look amazing in 4K. I have an LG oled c7. burn in the 3rd year never played games on it just regular tv Broadcast

For wall mounting it is not as sleek as my old tv. Also older Sony flat screens were made of higher quality materials. This only is mostly plastic

Big Brother Google TV... IOS Airplay Doesn't Work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony has sold out to the big brother Google influence and surveillance system - I just want a dumb TV without all of the Big Ad surveillance state advertising/data mining - the out of box process to set this up takes about 15 minutes of bypassing all the tentacles of the data gathering and advertising apparatus... It is no doubt the numerous microphones built-in to these products and remote controls are constantly listening for keywords and gathering data about your spending habits so they can advertise more stuff for you. Also the Airplay doesn't work from Iphone - IOS 15.2 - the code appears on the screen but the iphone just keeps asking you for the code no matter how many times you put it in... could be a bug with Apple, could be a bug with Airplay, could be a bug with Sony - who knows?? It just doesn't "just work" anymore like it used to... There are too many bugs in everything!!! Sony used to stand for quality... now it's just as mediocre as Samsung or Insignia...

Google OS is super annoying

I use lots of streaming services, but I have not cut the cord. I just want to turn on the tv and have my cable channel immediately show up. The Google OS is SUPER annoying. There are frequent OS updates, but the most annoying thing is that I frequently have to turn the tv on and off several times before it will let me past the Google home screen and into cable (HDMI). I work for Google and would recommend other smart tv’s with a different OS. I also own LG and Samsung smart tv’s and these are a much better experience.

This is definitely not the experience we want you to have with our products. Sony place a high value to customer's feedback as it helps us improves our products. Having said that, allow us to help you troubleshoot your problem and turn this into a much better experience.
You can change the screen that is displayed when the TV is turned on to the TV broadcast channel or external input such as HDMI that you were watching before turning off the TV.
Press the (Quick Settings) button on the remote control.
Select [Power on behavior], and then select [Last input].
The next time the TV is turned on, the TV broadcast channel or external input such as HDMI that you were watching before turning off the TV will be displayed.
