Lower cost TVs tried lacked real picture quality, resolution and vibrance. This current Sony is not as good as my 10 year old Sony, but acceptable quality.

My old Sony Bravia up-stairs (6-7 years old) has a far superior picture, and it is not a high end unit. Very disappointing for a Sony and the money one hopes to spend for superior quality.

Press the Quick Settings button on the remote control, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — the desired option.

It also provides a good picture out of the box for hdr and gaming. My only complaint is that the feet don't fit the TV properly. To be fair, it was an open box item, so that's probably why. Overall it's a solid, affordable TV.

I have to unplug the tv and plug it back in that’s the only way I can get YouTube to work again. I try to force stop the YouTube app but that doesn’t work. The internet doesn’t work on it either it takes forever to get a signal and I keep constantly loosing the signal. I bought the Sony tv because my previous tv was a Sony and I didn’t have any problems with it. I’m going to try a different brand now.

Broken after a year and a half

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After a year and a few months, the screen light is dark and broken, there’s lines and distorted colors illuminated all throughout the screen even though the TV is still completely functioning with the buttons and such. It’s a shame that it only took about a year for the TV to last. Would not recommend Sony brand to anyone as it will most likely break within a year or maybe even less! Now learning to choose the “Samsung” route all the way.
