Not a big fan of the SMART functions. It's mostly only useful for Netflix. It has some slightly obscure version of an App Store that has a ton of Apps I've never heard of. The picture quality is excellent, the sound quality is great too; just not a big fan of the smart functions.

Overall performance of this unit is very good. Interface is easy to understand and hooking it up to my wi-fi was a breeze. Smart TV with many controls. 2 HDMI inputs are a little low, but suits my needs. Speakers and an external amp. are required for good frequency response.

We've always like the Sony brand and have never had any trouble with any Sony products we've owned. We have a 40" Sony which we moved into the bedroom (replacing an older smaller TV) and put this new 48" Sony in the den. Works great, picture looks great, couldn't be happier with our purchase.

This Sony TV is replacing a Sony TV. When we took it out of the box, plugged it in and connected the HDM cableI, the TV fired right off with a great picture, sound and we were able to use the DVR remote for TV and DVR. From box to watching the TV took less than 30 minutes.

I bought this tv when I decided I wanted a larger model. My son has a Sony that has served him well, so it was logical that I get one for myself. The picture quality is great. I also use it as my computer monitor and it works extremely well here as well. So far I give it five stars.

Price is decent and product features are sufficient for our needs. Was not looking for the latest or fanciest technology/features. This was an impromptu purchase to replace our disappointing 2.5 year old LG flatscreen that went black screen and have come back to Sony!!!

I bought this to use in our bedroom, which is quite large. It's perfect! The picture quality and sound are great for this price level. It's our first smart TV. The user guide could be better written as to how to use some of the features. Overall, for the price a good secondary TV.

This is a great product. It syncs easily with my Sony home theater system.

I've bought a lot of TVs over the years and this one is great quality. That said, it's a bit expensive for the size. I purchased it because it had more features than most TVs that small (lines in, especially). Otherwise I'd have bought a less expensive TV.

I think that this was the best fit for my living area. I have a 32" in my bedroom and I thought that 40" would've been enough. After receiving the 40", I realized I needed much larger. 50" would've been a little too large for my liking, so I went with 48". NO REGRETS.

Bought TV on line and picked up at store. I also bought the Geek squad 5 year warranty. TV was easy to hook-up and has an excellent picture quality. I'm very pleased with the easy buying experience,

The tv is nice and we prefer the quality of the Sony TV. We were disappointed that the "Smart" tv did not hook as described in the store to external accounts and additional items were needed to purchase to get the tv operating the way we wanted.

I'll admit I'm partial to Sony products,and their quality and reliability is the reason for that. All of the audio/visual products in my home are Sony and the intergration between them using the Bravia link is awesome...one remote will work all the Sony equipment.

I was looking for a smart TV with web browser. I had two TV that was suggested and this one still without the browser. I was disappointed but I have managed to enjoy it anyway with the YouTube feature. At least I can watch some of my programs.

Bought this TV for my basement, first time ever buying a Sony. I was really surprised how nice this TV is. I have it hooked up to a basic cable box and the picture is great. Sports and movies are great, no motion blur at all. I'm very happy with this TV.

Picture quality is great. It lacks in sound but that's typical for most high def Tvs now. Mounting can be a pain so prepare for that. I had a professional mount it and he complained. Besides that for the price and size it's a great buy.

Overall good tv, - wasn't looking for a ton of features, wanted one that I had a choice of configure those features that I wanted to use - this one provided that. good sound and picture quality, reliable with antenna or cable.

This is a great TV for all occasions. I do games, watch movies and just casual TV browsing. I love how vibrant the colors are and clear the picture is; great resolution. I am hooked on my surround sound so I don't use the tv volume much.

Exactly what you'd expect from Sony. It's the perfect second TV.
