I also have an LG Smart TV that is very user friendly. There is no internet browser. Also, randomly, the tv will turn off and turn back on. There has also been a few times where the tv turned off completely and it took at least 5 minutes to power back on. The remote control is worthless, half the time it does not even work. The only function the remote seems to have is to change the volume and power on or off. Now recently my soundbar will not pick up sound with the optical cord and only the hdmi cord. The soundbar works on my other tv, so I am assuming that the optical port on the Sony does not work. This is the first time I have owned a Sony. My next television purchase will be a Samsung or LG.

Internet browser is not supported by this specific model however, you can still connect this to the internet a stream certain apps like netflix and amazon instant video.
