Returned it and bought a Samsung. From the side at about 30 degrees the picture was all white.

I returned this product because it arrive damaged and with missing parts.

This is a GREAT TV,just understand it IS an entry level Smart TV in as much as it DOES NOT have a web browser,you will need to get the next model up.If you have a Netflix account then this is for you.If you have an Amazon account then this TV is for you.There ARE ways around not having a web browser.How?Easy,it has mirror capability if you phone etc is compatible with it.Both our android phones Are,a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and an off brand BLU phone,so Facebook etc is a breeze. If like me,yours is wall mounted,i would suggest getting right angle HDMI adapters or cables,its much easier to "close couple"your TV to the wall mount. Wifi connection was a breeze,with no issues at all,AND my router is on a different floor in my house,some 35ft away and NEVER drops the signal.We also have an aging GameCube,(I know,i know,its ancient)my wife enjoys playing the old games before violent games became the norm,these are connected via the old smart leads,red,yellow n white,my point being,the game performs flawlessly and a great picture from the TV. Picture quality from DVD is awesome,exceptional quality with deep rich colors,it is an older Sony DVD that upconverts and again,performs flawlessly. Cable TV is good,but I anticipate being superb when the new HD box arrives,but is great as is. Streaming services such as Amazon Prime and Netflix,along with youtube are EXCELLENT and unlike other reviewers I HAVENT had any lag or freezing of movies. As with ALL my Sony products,i anticipate this lasting ALONG time,I have owned this TV a couple of months now and have used it daily and figured I could give a fair review of initial quality and performance. Again,unlike other reviewers,the apps load pretty quickly and without issue,i don't know if this is due to having no wifi problems or if its because I don't expect lightening fast responses when I initially open an app,(10 to 15 seconds for Netflix or Amazon to open),I KNOW Sony is always that little bit more to purchase than other brands,but I am brand loyal when I have no issues,so,along with Sony,i trust Samsung too. In closing,to me,this IS a worthwhile purchase,it IS an entry level smart TV and does everything I ask of it without faltering. As a bonus,i noticed my older Sony handsets control the volume on the TV aswell,not sure about anyother functions as I don't mess with the handsets as it drives my wife mad!!!! I have a Sony all in one remote with LCD touch screen that I dare not use as my good lady would call me mad as anything at work because she couldn't get the TV to switch on!!!! Well worth the purchase price guys,just don't place unreasonable expectations on an entry level smart TV,if you want the web browser you need to pay about $80 to $100 more,depending on if its on sale. Oh,before I forget,get a knowledgable associate to show you how the display model works as that really helps. Out of the box it took about 45 minutes to set up,20 of those for the TV to configure,it really is that easy.

I had Sony LCD 1080p for 6 years which went out on me last week. I bought Samsung 48" smart tv. I had it for a week. I didnot like it , I didnot like the looks and I didnot like the pics. I went back and switch with this Sony TV. I am loving it. Smart TV works perfect. I use youtube. Youtube video runs fast as you are accessing laptop, no buffer. This tv doesn't have web browser like Samsung but I didn't care of it because web browser in Samsung was ridiculously slow. So Far I am Happy Sony Customer. !!!

At $379 on sale it's hard to beat this TV. The picture quality and sound are good, and it's super lightweight so if you move often that's something to consider as one person can easily move it around.

Everything about this tv is great minus the lie about it being 120hz. Sure the picture is great and you can watch Amazon prime on it but the refresh rate is 60hz. Not 120hz. Now, if you add the refresh rate from the two hdmi plugs it will equal 120hz but as far as I know you can not plug one device into two hdmi ports. I could be wrong though. (Sarcasm) Don't purchase this if your looking for 120hz frame rate. The 120hz is a lie! Like the cake.

This TV is brand new to the Best Buy lineup and sports top notch picture quality. Its super thing and light.

My only and BIG complaint is, there are no screws to attach the stand! Why not include the screws? Then top it off, why don't they write the exact thing a person needs to ask for at a hardware store so you don't have to me numerous trips there. Could someone please tell me what "M4 x 12" means everyday plain layman's terms? Is thar 1/4" x 12" ? Help!

Great picture at a great price. Was very easy to setup

I purchased this tv 9 months ago. About a teo months ago the main HDMI port quit working. No big deal I have other ports. Well about 3 weeks ago the sound quit working, I have toddlers, I NEED sound. Spoke with a representative from Sony and did all the favorite resets etc. was told to call back next day to set up a technician to come out. Called back and had to go through ALL the steps again (because as a mother of 3 I have another hour to waste). That technician hung up on me (yes I got rude because I tried several times to inform him I had done all these steps the day before just needed to schedule a technician). I received a phone call that evening advising the part had been ordered to fix my HDMI port and a technician should be emailing me in a few days. I asked about my sound issue and there was no mention of that in their notes. She advised me the technician would look at the tv when they came out and would order more parts of needed. Fast forward a week and a half later. No phone calls, no emails, no anything so I call back. Was advised they emailed me (checked spam and trash no email), and they aren't coming to fix it they are sending me a refurbished tv to replace the one that died. I had purchased the extended warranty (which now won't be used because the tv died in less than a year) they will not honor it. I get a 90 day warranty on this "new" tv. I asked to speak with a manager and was told no, my options are take the tv and the 90 day warranty or nothing. I have called 3 more times with the same results because I took the option. The customer service at Sony is appaualing. I have had a vizio for going on 4 years with NO issues.

The TV is great, no question about it, but in the smart function's app store could've been soooooo much better. The only decent apps this tv has is netflix and youtube. NO IT DOES NOT HAVE HULU! However if you have a roku or apple tv no biggie. The image quality is beautiful and the sound is amazing.

Bought one almost a year ago and loved the picture quality unfortunately it broke when i moved. I liked it so much I had to get another one great tv for the bedroom.

Good picture for the price point. Would be nice if there were more smart feature options.

Old TV was ten years old and backlight went out. New LED backlights are a major upgrade. I would prefer a tv with no smart features, but that does not seam to exist. TV acts a little more like a computer (warm up time, sometimes slow to respond to volume commands), but overall I'm very happy for this price range. Contrast is super duper.

The picture on this tv is very clear. It was simple to setup.

Nice screen visibility, the 1080 is good for clarity in sight. Loving the sound system as well

High quality resolution and applications at a reasonable cost. Especially enjoy the various apps the come with it. Highly recommend for all types of viewers

This tv was on sale in the ad when it caught my eye, I thought this was a great price considering it's a Sony. I'm a huge fan of Sony products and own a couple of their tv's. I decided to go for it based on the good reviews here and my trust for Sony but I have to say I'm very disappointed! I purchased this tv to replace my KDL-32S3000 which I love! But I was looking for something bigger. But I found the picture to be very grainy and colors are very dull and not vibrant compared to my 32S3000 even compared to an older "Not full hd" KDL-V40XBR1 it just doesn't compare! I've tried messing with the settings and sharpness but nothing seems to help. I will be returning this unit for a refund.

The built in WIFI makes it easy to view cell phone pics.
