Amazing tv, stupid apps

We were expecting at least Netflix and Hulu, but were sorely disappointed. Ended up buying an Apple TV to go with it, so it defeated the purpose of buying a smart tv, but it was the only way to make the tv usable without buying cable.

Love the smart features, and it includes the Amazon app. We are just having a problem getting the color right. Faces seem washed out, and reds seem to red, no matter how we adjust it. The test picture looks beautiful though, so we know it's possible. Wish we could auto set it to the test picture.

I have purchased different brands in the past and my last TV broke in less than a year could not be repaired and had to get a new one. So I replaced the broke one with a Sony. I am so happy with this TV that I even went bigger. I should have said with Sony from the start. SONY FOREVER!!

Good for the cost

I had more problems with it at the beginning than I do now (like the TV being non-responsive to volume controls with the remote). It's easy to navigate through the apps. The sound quality is decent, and visually it has a nice display. I would buy it again.

Good HDTV

The sound system is acceptable for a television set. May purchase a sound bar in the near future. Had a Sony Bravia TV for many years with no problems, until lightning struck our house recently. So I thought I'd try another one.

Even as an older model, sadly, it does not sync completely with my Comcast hand held controller. This could be Comcast's problem as their controller is not new. This being said, when not compared to the new 4k models, this is a very good TV, and I am very satisfied.

crystal clear

All other TV's that have been in this room have given off a terrible glare. You could barely see the picture. This one is perfect. No glare at all. The TV is clear no matter how sunny the room gets. I still need to figure out a few minor things but I would recommend it.
