I haven’t purchased a Sony TV in over 7 years. The last few have been LG and Samsung. Seeing the set in action showed me what I have been missing. The detail it brings to movies in Dolby Vision is unreal. You have to see it to believe it. I started watching shows and movies I have already watched, in amazement with the additional detail the tv brings. It’s an entirely different experience! But don’t just take my word for it, check the reviews and bring one home for yourself. I guarantee, what ever other TV you have will be bowing down to this one. I use mine as a monitor and to play PC games….and wow……just wow………. I just wished it came larger than 48”. But Sony played us. To get that you’d have to purchase last years A90J or this years A95K (which I also purchased and love).

One problem is it was missing all the screws to put the pedestal on the bottom of the tv, so I had to return the tv and for a replacement tv because Best buy lost all the screws. Do not know if I would recommend buying an open box tv from best buy. Always some kind of issue with open box TVS from best buy.

Sony - 48" XR A90K OLED

Was looking at OLEDs and realized I cared more about the picture than the size. Price point wasn't too bad, compared to others in its class, and so far I am satisfied. 4K streaming looks great, sound is fine. Lots of features I haven't played with yet.

Voice activation is excellent but putting the stand on took some time and so did set up. I would highly recommend! Love it and I have no regrets.

New OLED TV

Year ago I purchased Sony 65 inch full rayA-95 series. And compared both TV I like pictures this TV more. Both have a lot of future. My opinion Sony 48 OLED is overpriced. Overall I would recommend to anyone, if size 48 inch impotent.

The blacks are pitch dark, the colors pop and are accurate, and the overall quality of the ui is amazing. The 48" is a PERFECT size for the 4k HDR resolution without compromising image quality.

Amazing quality tv

No so smart remote

No previous channel. Slow if using the mouse to toggle from on station to another. You have to select the guide, then select the numbers butter then select each number. Always telling me low battries when brand new Duracell are installed

First time OLED tv user

There were two settings that needed correction. 1 was to set defaults to highest resolution. Other was to change color from standard to vivid. Picture was perfect after that. Took several calls to Sony to get that done. Loved watching the masters after that.
