Nicest TV I ever owned

Color depth is incredible and the blacks are as dark as the empty space in the cabinet it sits in,meaning I cannot see the edges of the TV when the screen is black. Only complaint I have is Google TV. It is too intrusive with ads. I have an older Sony which has Android TV and I prefer that over Google TV.

I finally upgraded my 12 year old Samsung for this tv and it doesn’t disappoint. The color / true black is amazing, I love the smart tv interface, and it is awesome to game with it on my PS5. Very happy. My first experience with OLED and I can’t go back I will just add I don’t think the sound quality is great but I’m spoiled because I’ve had a sound bar for years and find most tv sound quality is mediocre at best

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down the best tv I’ve ever had.The picture is unbelievable.I’ve watched movies that I’ve seen a hundred times but now it’s like seeing it for the first time.I have been a LG guy until now.When I went to Best Buy I checked out the Samsung,LG,and Sony.They are not close.And if you are a PS5 junkies like me,you will not be able to resist.I’m not sayin anymore bc it’s worth the wait to see what this has to offer.I also bought the A3000 soundbar for a big number.I also got the SW3 subwoofer.It’s great!

There are a lot of features that I am not using ( Netflix, Disney, Prime Video ) however they are there for anyone who wants them. I connected a Sony Blu ray player ( UBP-X700M ) with no problems.

The sales person was extremely knowledgeable about all the brands and explained the differences completely. I was limited to size due to the opening of my entertainment center. I purchased a 48" Sony Bravia and I love everything about it. Right size and the picture is beautiful.

Sony Bravia A90K OLED 4K

Full featured, plenty of settings and configurations available. Sleek, clean, and pretty. The remote control device is very premium. It looks and feels great. It has voice controls, and the Google OS is snappy and clean. My only complaint is that the Wired Ethernet port has a max bandwidth of 100Mbps. For a 4K TV, this does introduce lag and buffering. You could always use WiFi or connect with an Ethernet to USB adapter for faster connections, but on a premium expensive TV, they should not be skimping on a $2 upgrade. Unacceptable. All in all, a nice TV. Not sure it's worth upwards of $1000 USD, but not bad at all.

Once the quirks were worked out, like restarting when turned on, from doing a lot of searching in online forums, TV seems stable now. Love that it's a Google TV and added to Google Home. Also love that the stand is in the middle of the TV and not legs on the edges. A little pricey, but it is a Sony.
