perfect picture meets opaque tech

Super deep shadows. Very thin frame. We have a Sony 7.1 amplifiier with Sony bluray player, Lenovo laptop hdmi, and TV inputs. The amazon fire stick has a port on the TV. The Google TV software managed to set this all up in a quas-self-directed mode. The sound is excellent, but the input selection is completly opaque and requires trial and error selections with each startup. And then by some mystery it all comes together with spectacular results. I'll figure it out ...tomorrow. Meanwhile we are very pleased with the purchase.

Very important to calibrate as you want to get the best out of an incredible television. I thought of a larger one but the 48" version is a perfect size for most living rooms. The picture is very natural and clear. Like you're there in sporting events. Movies are outstanding.

Incredible as a monitor

I bought this and the Lg C2 trying to decide which to use as a desktop/gaming monitor. I've decided to keep the Sony as the image quality and upscaler are just next level! I loved it so much I made a review video about it. I wish it had 4 hdmi ports, and I hope sony stays on top of the software updates for it. I cannot recommend it enough.

Sony Bravia OLED TV - Breathtaking Picture!

We have been blown away by the resolution and detail on the screen and our existing (ARC) surround sound system is working flawlessly with it. The salesman said once you go "OLED" you'll never go back and he's right!

Best TV in it's class

I have close quarter in my studio apartment and don't want to overwhelm the opportunity to be able to get some open space. The picture quality is precisely Sony quality. Combined with my Acrylic B50 the sound effects is awesome. I would recommend this TV.

Set Up is Frustrating
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the 48" TV and think it would have been impossible to do a larger one on my own. The screws that secure the mounts to the base plate are held by Torx head screws! On top of that, they do NOT tighten all the way leaving some wobble. After the TV is on the mounts, you're supposed to put in 4 screws, thankfully Phillips. Two of the screws are so far in that the screws will not stay on the screwdriver, AND, you can't put the screen flat, so, how do you get them in? Next, you have to "type" in your network name and password. Because of the TERRIBLE remote, I tried over and over again to type it all in correctly before it was happy. The same for paid subscriptions. For what the Sony name implies and the price I paid, I feel the remote should be a heck of a lot better than it is. You have to rely on that remote for every little thing with this TV and it should be better than it is. Except for the fact that this is a SMART TV, I feel it really isn't a lot better than the 15 year old Bravia it replaces. What you get for a picture is dependent on what your provider is shipping you. Come on Sony, your remote sucks!
