I upgraded to this model after my 40" Bravia from 2007 gave up the ghost. My old Bravia had lasted me almost 10 years and I had not expected it to fail when it did. Purchased this tv after reading some reviews and based on my previous positive experience with Sony Bravias. Exactly what I hoped for in a 1080p platform my only complaint is that the sound quality seems worse than it was on my old model. Nothing a decent sound bar can't fix though.

This smart TV has a picture quality not surpassed by others. The price was lower than found elseware. Customer service was excellent. Really a great experience.

Great tv for the the price has Youtube and Amazon Prime and Netflix and Pandora right at your fingertips.

this tv was a great purchase. i am completely happy with the picture quality and the sound. It has such clear, vivid images..much better than our previous tv.

Nice set with good picture for price point. TV has very limited apps, and no web browser.

Enjoyed watching different tv programs and it is clear, nice colors and perfect size for the living room area.

I always thought Sony was a good tv and this one is ok. The picture is good but the sound is horrible! I wouldn't buy it again. The internet features freeze all the time. Sometimes it won't turn on or off and you have to unplug it and plug it back in. Kind of disappointed. I've always been a Sony guy but I bought a Samsung for my living room and it's a much better tv.

Purchased this TV as a gift for my son who is really into gaming. He loves it! Great size and beautiful picture! Very pleased with the Smart TV functions

Excellent overall picture, but even with the sports mode it will occasionally pixilate fast motion scenes.

Purchased this Sony television for my large master bedroom. The picture is very sharp and bright, the sound is excellent and very easy to operate control.

The picture is better than Samsung and of course Sharp. The size suits me much. 55" seems to be too much also still a long way to go before we have all the content in 4K so thought it's a best bet at this point of time.The TV is fine in its class but had started with few software glitches. I am not sure if it's temporary but would like you to check if you face any.

If you are looking for a HD TV for a small room this is a great buy. Love the Internet wireless connectivity

Awesome tv! Smart functions work well. Great picture resolution, even without the expensive cables. I only wish the remote had lighted buttons

Great picture and features, we've purchased a few other brands and this TV has the best picture and sound.

We have this same television in our bedroom and we liked it so much, we bought one for our winter home in Florida .could not ask for a better picture.

Needed a good middle of the road tv. This has pretty good quality picture for the money. Definitely worth the extra $100+/- over the bottom end stuff.

I had just bought the 65 inch for the living room, and was amazed at the quality of the picture...so I bought this "smaller" one for our bedroom.

Believe it or not, this is my 1st flatscreen tv. I told the Best Buy employee what I wanted and he suggested this tv. It is perfect!!! And a great price!
